It was a short stay but it was pleasant! I have stayed in hotels that were $600+/night that weren’t even as up to par. I enjoyed this hotel, it was clean, tidy, and had every necessity. I would stay again!
Location great, rooms were very clean.
Great variation for breakfast needs, turndown chocolate chip cookies, comfortable beds. For the cost of this room I was VERY impressed of the value. The only negative thing I can say was that the shower water pressure was meh.. but that also is indicative of majority of resort/hotels. Best thing was that the coffee was amazing, it was great tasting, not watered down and the perfect temperature to drink- not scalding tastebuds off hot.
The hotel is very convenient,I attend my son’s commencement.Everybody at the check-in is very nice and professional. The room is very historical and elegant。
Truly the only thing that would've made it better is if there had been no cobwebs in the patio doorway or the pool area. The pool room had several large webs with active spiders. Other than that, this place was wonderful. I would definitely stay again.
ゲゲストThe hotel was alright but when it comes to checking in and out is another thing it was a hassle paid for the hotel online with my CashApp card and when I had arrived and they asked for a security deposit fee and I had asked them if they accepted CashApp being how they took it the first time they told me no they didn’t accept it and that I would have to either have cash or a bank card that isn’t CashApp, Venmo, Chime, PayPal etc rude as can be and not only to mention they had kicked me out my room until I had paid a security deposit fee for my pet and later that night I had paid the pet fee and the staff was nothing but disrespectful but the day of check out I woke up late and apologized to the housekeepers and they were nothing but rude and told me that I had 5 minutes to get out or else there were going to be police there and I had a lot of stuff in my room being how I stayed a few days there but and 5 minutes wasn’t going to be good enough for me so I had asked if I can get a little bit more time and after I had got everything out they were nothing but nice as can be asking if help was needed and I told them that I didn’t need any help from them got everything into my car and walked back in so I can get my security deposit fee back and I was denied my security deposit fee and I want and I am going to be calling the head honcho and reporting that and everything else.
This is not the first time either that this has happened to me
SSamitraThe room and hotel was great. I don’t like that you do have to pay.$20 per day for parking or you will need to use the city parking but you can’t park over night as city parking expires at midnight. The location has no pool but has a nice roof top. Drinks were pretty reasonable. Over all it was nice.
ゲゲストWe arrived wondering if it was where we were supposed to be, I had lost all our information. The smiling face of Shelly assured us we were in the right place. She was very helpful with dining suggestions and other information as well.
Our room was Clean and comfortable. There was the usual breakfast menu, but the attendant was very pleasant, helpful and efficient. The only negative was the desk clerk, Erthel. When we went to dinner our 2nd evening I told her our 2 dogs, mini dachshunds, rarely barked when left in the room, but they would whine. Normally only for a couple of minutes and then settle down. She phoned us at the restaurant, about an hour later, to let us know our dogs had been whining nonstop for an hour. I do not know why this warranted a call except that she didn’t want us to leave them and go to dinner in the first place. But how were we supposed to get dinner? There isn’t a restaurant on site. And when we returned they were not whining or crying. So Erthel, why interrupt our dinner?
Over all we were very happy with our stay and will consider staying at a Quality Inn in the future.
ゲゲストThis hotel is nice. It was clean. It is farther away from downtown Rochester Hills than the website indicates. We were disappointed that there wasn't a hot tub, just a very small indoor pool. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Two floors of the hotel were filled with kids' hockey teams that were running wild on the other floors, including our floor. The breakfast room the following morning was much the same, the kids were yelling, running around, making a mess of everything while the parents were conversing with the other parents. Total disrespect to the rest of guests. The kids were mixing all the different juices together and then throwing it out because it didn't taste good, throwing away bananas they didn't peel, just wasting food. I know this was not the hotels fault. It's just a shame the parents or the kids had no regard for all the other patrons. We had to wait for the sole person manning the breakfast room to refill most of the breakfast items. There was a nice selection of hot and cold food once it was replenished. I would still stay at this hotel again
