We had an outstanding stay at this hotel. We stayed in a double room with Mountain View and the room was packed with lots of water and toiletries! They also gave us free fruit on the first day. All the staff from the house cleaners, front desk clerks, ski pass clerks, to the boys at the ski rental equipment desk were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a large assortment and an omelette station, yum! The gym was really nice and large but only had one yoga mat. The pool area was good but the small heated pool was rather luke warm. Best thing was this was a ski in and ski out hotel we didn’t have to leave it everything we needed to rent and do was right here! Also the Chinese restaurant on the top floor was SO delicious and staff again were so nice! Definitely coming back here for our yearly ski trips

Wonderful stay at Aranya! So tranquil and breathtaking! The hotel has a variety of restaurants you can choose from. The 2 hour private spa was well worth the money! The hotel also has a free shuttle that can take you to a nearby cafe and a massive kids park in minutes! It was amazing!

**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

The rooms in this place are very spacious, clean and well appointed. It's a decent location, though a little further from the gondola than other places. Food options are fine, provided you're comfortable with Chinese food. One thing to be aware of is that this place is two buildings, which are not joined and so you have to go outside to get from one to the other if you're not staying in 'B' building, where reception is. Also be aware that despite the pictures, there is no swimming pool in the complex.

During the past few days in Zhangjiakou, the most unforgettable thing is not the passion of the track, but the emotion brought by the front desk. My family sent a box of sports drinks before I left. I made sure to make sure it was delivered on the day of the game. The result was that I, a road ******, filled in the wrong district address. The courier was sorting from the south of the city to a novice post office in the north of the city. Just after the race ended at 4 p.m., the logistics information showed that ”the post office is already at the post office,” but we had to leave for the next city at 5 p.m, and looked at the postoffice address 10 kilometers away on the map, stamping our feet in a hurry. The atmosphere was very warm and homely, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were always willing to help with any requests and made us feel well taken care of. Our room was the smallest one available, but it was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The property itself is quite spacious, with two lovely courtyards where guests can relax. Barbecue facilities are provided, and there are plenty of tables and chairs, making it a great place to spend time with family or friends. The swimming pool was a bit too cold for our liking, but that was not a big issue 😊 Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this place to others. 🇷🇺Мы отдыхали здесь три дня и остались очень довольны. Нам особенно понравилась теплая, домашняя атмосфера, благодаря которой отдых получился уютным и комфортным. Хозяева очень доброжелательные и гостеприимные.
