This hostel was quite an odd experience. I only stayed one night but for my entire stay I didn't see a single other person in the building, no other guests but also noone at the reception, not for check-in, not for check-out, not when I collected my luggage in the evening after visiting Tianmenshan. The owner left my key at the front desk and was very easy to contact via the trip chat however, so it wasn't a problem. There are no lockers at all and the top bunks don't have plug sockets or curtains. There are no individual lights for the beds either and the matresses are quite noisy. All of this wasn't a problem for me, since I was the only one in my room and had a bottom bunk. I also didn't find any towels. Overall the whole place isn't really set up like your usual hostel, but more like a hotel with bunk beds so you can sell them as shared rooms. It was completely fine for one night but I would imagine that this isn't the most comfortable place to stay for longer, especially during high season
MMARIA CARRERA REINA
It’s a wonderful hotel to stay near the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
I stayed this hotel for 4 nights. The manager of the hotel was so kind an knowledable that she told me how I could enjoy Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, and Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. She gave me advise of the order to visit each must-see spot. Thanks to her great advise, my plan got better and more effiicient.
You can also enjoy free breakfast that is served in another restaurant that is so good. You can enjoy Chinese breakfast that I enjoyed so much.
The hotel room didn’t have a refregerator, but it doesn’t cause any trouble because you can buy cold something at the convenience store located across the street. I stayed there in May, and it didn’t cause any trouble.
In addition, you can wash your cloth for free. The location is perfect to go shopping, and go to restaurants. It took me only 5 minites to go to the gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
Anyway I recommed to stay here to have a fantastic experience.

DDalRaThis hostel is very well located, right next to all the main tourist spots in downtown Changsha. It’s for women only, which is very convenient and gives a sense of safety. It’s also nice that the bed is in a private room just for you, which offers more privacy.
The bathrooms are decent and clean. The only downside I’d highlight is the mattress: it’s tiny, quite dirty, and you’re basically sleeping directly on a wooden board. I’m not usually one to complain, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a good night’s rest.
That said, the girls at the reception were very kind and helpful throughout my stay.
