I actually live in the neighborhood around this hotel, but I booked it to host a friend for the weekend. It's not the easiest option in the vicinity to walk to from the train station, though the walk which goes along the canal for most of the way is super scenic if you have time to spare on arrival. The cab to the hotel was also fairly quick and cost us about fifteen quid. Check-in was super convenient and casual, and the girl working walked us up to the room to introduce all the amenities and features of our room. The room was well equipped but it was a little bit of a disappointment that it didn't have a mini fridge - there aren't a lot of food options or supermarkets in easy walking distance from the hotel, so we had brought some items with us that we had to leave on the windowsill to keep chilled. Overall though the room was great. The lower level living room was a super comfy spot to chill and eat, and then the raised bedroom was incredibly cosy. I'm 5'11” and I will say I almost took myself out on the sloped walls a few times - I imagine anyone taller would have to be very careful. I've noticed that showers in this area generally aren't super hot or pressurised, but the setup here wasn't too bad. The pub below is of course super charming, a great place to sit with a pint and watch the sunset, though we didn't try the food. I will probably come back to this pub, and would stay in the inn again if I ever have any reason to.

Was in Stow for business and decided to drive down the night before. Booked a suite last minute. Excellent: clean, very large room and decent shower. Looked a lovely pub. Did not have a chance to try out the food.

As Asians, kinda difficult to find Asian food around especially rice meals, which is the only issue we found, the room is nice and comfortable, the area is beautiful, we just struggle on where to find Asian meals around the area. 😅

Delighted we could check in early before wedding reception. Great breakfast in the morning,. On a very hot night the room could have done with a fan, but otherwise all was perfect.

非常に特徴的なホテルですが、施設は通常のチェーンホテルと比較することはできません。私が不満を言う唯一のことは水質です。アルカリが高すぎるかどうかはわかりません。バスルームの水は滑りやすく脂っこいです。家族全員が一晩滞在してよく休んだので、大きな問題はありませんでした。

Nat & staff were fantastic ..hard working and very customer orientated. 5* recommend
