Well located with easy access to slopes via ski bus just outside the hotel. Hotel is dated. I stayed in a newly renovated room which really was amazing. Problem: it can sleep six but has a tiny bathroom so I would say only suitable for 2 guests. Great kitchenette. The dishes are not done by the hotel staff and left in the sink however there is no dishwashing liquid or sponge provided to allow you to do the dishes . The hotel bar needs livening up. The ski room needs a major overhaul- old rusted metal cupboards with no proper boot storage and no boot heating. Staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 5 nights in the X-Alp hotel during our summer holiday/honeymoon. Everything was perfect! The staff helped us to plan our daily activities and they're extremely friendly and helpful both in the reception and in the restaurant. The spa section was tastefully decorated and a perfect ending for an active day on the mountains. The breakfast wasn't so versatile, but you find every morning something to fill up your plate. The best thing in the breakfast was the cake table with several different tasty pleasures. Kiitos, kaikki oli erinomaista! :)

Wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Really appreciate all the sustainability efforts of the hotel. The pool was great after a long day of hiking. We booked half pension which was very convenient. Free parking and close to Vigo di Fassa

Hotel is lovely and all good quality. . Our room was an executive liberty and was large with everything you need. Location was perfect for the centre of Riva. Breakfasts were good although rather busy at the chef station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area is clean but just not enough sun beds for the amount of guests. Spa was great which we used when we were unable to go round the pool. Towels and robes available. I would recommend this hotel and would return if I ever return to Riva.

I simply cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a wellness retreat, excellent service and accommodations, top-notch spa and facilities, this place is for you. My husband and I found this place online looking at the reviews, and boy are we glad we came here! The staff at the front desk were so warm and welcoming and explained everything so thoroughly. They valeted our car, took our luggage, and lead us to our table for dinner after a day of traveling. The wait staff in the restaurant were fantastic and extremely knowledgeable of all the food and beverages they offered. Next, we went up to our room which was so clean and cozy; perfect for a low-key, relaxing stay. We got great use of all the facilities and amenities MyArbor had to offer. The spa, the pool, the food, the ambiance, everything was excellent. The surrounding area in which the resort is located was so peaceful and relaxing. We took the lift up to the mountains for a day and did some hiking. The views were incredible! Next time I think we will do paragliding :) The one thing I wish was different is that I wish we stayed longer! We stayed for 3 nights and it simply was not enough. We could have stayed a week here! Incredibly happy with our experience and stay, we will definitely be back!

We just came back from a couple of days holidays in Bolzano. this hotel was one of the best hotels we have been so far. Excellent location (7 minutes walk from station and right in the center of town), immaculate and good size rooms, wonderful spa and Jacuzi, ... Breakfast was good but a bit limited on variety. Staff are very friendly and helpful, specially Shabab who gave us a lot of super useful tips about the city and sightseeing. He also helped us to upgrade the room which was amazing. We could not fault anything in the hotel. We were also impressed with free Bolzano Card which was offered by hotel and is really fantastic for using cable cars, buses etc free of charge. We'd definitely go back.

While many seem to like this hotel, we can't say the experience was that enjoyable. The building feels tired, with an interior renovation done in an 80's style appearing dated. We followed the directions to the underground carpark (thankfully provided by the hotel), and discovered steps up and down to get to the hotel, and then up again to get from reception to the elevator. Hardly a deal-killer, but annoying nonetheless to schlep the luggage after a long day. Interior decor was surprising - it was neither ”classic old” nor ”modern chic”. Instead the reception area felt like something you might see at the counter of a Jamba Juice in a nondescript American mall. It was probably refreshing when first built, but style, particularly Italian style, has moved on significantly. Out of the elevator we found more stairs to get to our room. It was certainly spacious, but the style again felt dated. The bed was in a loft, up a set of noisily-creaking stairs, with a sloping roof skylight. Window coverings were good, blacking out the light of a very early sunrise, but we couldn't get the air conditioner to get the room below 22 or so (roughly 71), downstairs, and it was warmer still upstairs - all making for an uncomfortable night. The location was good for wandering around the old part of the City, but we have to believe that there are other centrally-located hotels offering a better experience. On any future trip we would likely opt for a stay in the beautiful surrounding area, visiting the old town (which the City seems to be intent on further improving) on a day trip.

With Bolzano picked simply as a midway stop for our drive from Germany to Tuscany, we weren't expecting too much of the town but this hotel looked promising. We were pleased that BOTH exceeded our expectations. The city is vibrant and picturesque to where we wish we had stayed a few days instead of just a day and a half. As for Hotel Hortenberg, it was delightful and had an impressive feel. Our room (101) was clean, spacious, quiet, tastefully decorated, and with a generously sized bathroom. We found the staff to be welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfast bar had something for everyone, with all selections fresh and well supplied. The garden and pool area were a pleasant oasis where barely a noise was to be heard from outside the property walls. The view up the mountain towering over the hotel and neighborhood was impressive. We hope to return to this area one day and to choose this hotel again.

Pessimo! Partiamo dalla camera: bagno nuovo ma armadio rotto senza né pomelli né chiave per poterlo aprire ,comodino rotto, la spina sopra il comodino completamente incassata nel muro rotta ma la perla è il letto ,vecchio ,con un materasso anni 50 a molle completamente sfondato adagiato su un pancaccio di legno per dargli un po' di dignità. Dopo varie discussioni il direttore ha deciso di cambiarmi stanza. Ma la camera non è stato il peggio! Io avevo avvertito prima del mio arrivo che avevo una dieta no carne. Il giorno di Natale a colazione chiedo a maitre e camerieri di mostrarmi il menù della cena per vedere cosa avrei potuto mangiare e cosa avrei potuto modificare.Menù di carne e pesce, il secondo solo carne concordo con il maitre un piatto di formaggi misti. La sera all'antipasto mi viene servita la tartare di fassona che rimando indietro perché no carne,primo piatto mi viene messo sotto il naso il tagliolino al ragù di cinghiale che rimando indietro ricordando che sono no carne, finalmente arriva il primo che avrei potuto mangiare (gnocchi di zucca al gorgonzola) peccato che al primo morso becco un pezzo di speck che non era menzionato tra gli ingredienti,chiamo il maitre,gli rendo il piatto e mi viene chiesto perché lo mando indietro;per l'ennesima volta ricordo ,piuttosto scocciata, che sono no carne e mi vengono preparati due primi all'ultimo momento.Aspettavo il mio piatto di formaggi misti della Val di Fassa,dopo che il maitre porta in cucina il mio piatto di filetto alla Wellington,viene fuori dicendomi che il pesce non ce l’hanno,io strabuzzo gli occhi e gli ricordo che la mattina noi due insieme avevamo concordato un piatto di formaggi! Il maitre entra in cucina e ne esce con quattro tocchi di formaggio industriale sicuramente usato in cucina ma niente a che vedere con i formaggi della Val di Fassa ;spero di rifarmi col “dolce dello chef” e invece mi arriva mezza fetta di panettone rinsecchito avanzato dalla tombola del giorno precedente. ATTENZIONE per chi ha allergie o diete particolari perché tra quello che viene scritto sul menu e quello che viene portato la sera in tavola ci sono sempre cose diverse senza mai essere avvertiti :cambio di ingredienti,aggiunta di ingredienti ;una cosa molto pericolosa. Nessuna cura per il cliente ,nessuna attenzione per il cliente.In quarant'anni che vado in Val di Fassa non mi sono mai trovata in una situazione del genere ,da dire che tra il personale non c'era nessuno locale quindi la cura e l'attenzione che solitamente si ritrovano nelle strutture della Val di Fassa qui sono assolutamente inesistenti.

We visit Residence every year since 2014 when we go skiing in the Dolomites. We love the owner's attention to detail, that makes you feel at home right away. Location is quiet, situated right next to Marcialonga Course. Rooms are very clean and the food is delicious. You can opt for breakfast which iclude cheeses from the nearest farms + home made cakes. The ski room is equipped with electrical ski boots dryers, so you have warm and dry boots in the morning. If you are not sure which hike trails or ski centers you eant to visit, or you need reccommendation for ski rental place, the staff is extremely helpfull, beause they are hikers and skiers as well. We will definitely return again.

Il residence è molto carino, ottima posizione, pulito, cambio biancheria e asciugamani ok, la stanza era molto bella, moderna, la cucina aveva tutto l'occorrente per preparare i pasti, i letti comodi. Unica pecca il parcheggio non sempre disponibile e spesso eravamo costretti ad andare a parcheggiare fuori e la nostra camera era al secondo piano, senza ascensore, non è stato semplice salire i bagagli e ogni sera, al nostro rientro portare su bambini, borse e sacchi della spesa. Probabilmente, siccome noi avevamo chiesto una camera un po' più grande (eravamo in sei), quelle più grandi sono disponibili solo agli ultimi piani, però abbiamo avuto davvero tanta difficoltà.
