Dreams Acapulco Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Very nice resort. Don’t bother with the “preferred” designation. Little to no difference for what we paid as a preferred guest. Food was hit-and-miss. Breakfast was good, especially the fresh OJ and custom omelettes. Why is there no Salt/Pepper on the table? We had to ask for it EVERY SINGLE TIME. the lunch and dinner buffets were disappointing. However, whichever restaurant was open to order off the menu was usually pretty good. I found a few things I liked, and simply ordered those. I was surprised that there was very limited staff fluent in English. I used “Google translate” a LOT! After all, it is a Spanish speaking country. There was a very relaxed pace, also relaxed pace for the staff. Pool bars were supposed to open at 11am. But at 11am was when they began stocking the bar. Some days were better and some days were not good. The cleaning staff was FANTASTIC! I was particularly disappointed in our check out. The prearranged taxi was an hour early! It was 7am. The preferred lounge was supposed to be open at 7 and we were planning to check out there in very relaxing circumstances. It was NOT OPEN!!! So we checked out as the cab driver was loading up our bags, while we negotiated a check out with a non-English front desk lady. If you go here, you MUST go see Joel. He is with Amstar and he coordinated our scuba dive adventure as well as our evening watching the cliff divers and meal. I would go again. But frankly, even though it was a beautiful paradise, I wouldn’t want to stay over a week.

Contrary to most reviews about Dreams Acapulco. This place is by far the most under rated resort I've ever been to. People make the difference and that's what this place has. The most caring, genuine staff I have ever met. The rooms are clean, food is great, great pools and grounds. Most of all the staff is what makes it. Wife and I went for 2 wks and returning for 3 weeks next Jan. I would like to personally mention a few exceptional people at Dreams Acapulco. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Exceptional service all around. Everyone was nice, maid service was on-point. The only complaint was securing warm water after a planned water outage. It took awhile to get warm water back in our room, but it wasn't a deal breaker.

We had an amazing time. We loved our room and the service throughout the hotel was phenomenal!!!! Best we ever had. In particular, we would like to recognize Jorge Quezada from The Pescador restaurant, and Ernesto from the Pescador bar, for their hard work in providing amazing service. However, we stayed for a week and got tired of our food options. Changing the menus up more would be helpful. Also, a little more adult entertainment in the evening please. We loved the casino night.

I am UVC member and wanted to visit the Dreams resort in Acapulco because of the location, despite having read some unfavorable reviews. It is actually not a resort but a normal sized hotel with all-inclusive. It is a bit old, but with good materials and well kept, similar to the Emporio hotel which is close. There are limited dining options which are not open all days (and were not open even the days it said they were to be open on the Hyatt app). The swimming pools are good (for a hotel, not a resort), but there was no reserved area for adults (like they have at hotel Emporio, which makes a huge difference) and some people bring their own music speakers (there was no mention of this being prohibited). The best is to walk and swim on the beach. The last day of my 3 nights stay I got food poisoned, probably at the seafood restaurant, so I spent the remaking time of my stay close to the toilet and barely managed to get back to CDMX. I have never had any such problems at any other resort or even simple hotels in Mexico, even eating seafood. I noted that some service personnel insisted on using their hands even with a spoon next to them, perhaps it has to do with this, or bad raw materials. I would not recommend anyone visiting this hotel before the hotel has completely revised the hygienic procedures.

El personal del Hotel tiene poco sentido común, dados los siguientes hechos: 1) 5 de los 6 días que estuvimos ahí el refill del servibar del cuarto de los niños lo surtieron con cervezas, a pesar de nuestros repetidos comentarios de que al cuarto de los niños no era necesario surtir cervezas y de que las quitaran de ahí. ¿en qué cabeza cabe surtir cervezas en el cuarto de los niños? Desde mi punto de vista, este comportamiento resulta negligente, es peligroso para los niños y considero mi deber advertirle a las demás personas que se cuiden de este tipo de servicios en lo futuro.

Ci siamo stati con nostra figlia neonata e la tata. Nell'albergo, tutti, conoscevano nostra figlia e tutto il personale si soffermava per salutarla e salutarci. Grande garbo e cortesia. Buona la disponibilità dei ristoranti interni e dei servizi offerti

Tuve una experiencia muy buena, atención formidable, me asistió Lety de concierge y Juan de seguridad me ayudaron a encontrar mi gorra y todo perfecto. Gran experiencia en los restaurantes, comida muy buena en Toro.

El hotel Dreams de Acapulco me sorprendió por la calidad en el servicio, la gente es cálida, atenta y amable. Seguramente volverán a estar ahí después de la reconstrucción. Con la calidad y profesionalismo que encontramos en nuestra visita.
