Julie, the front desk person, was amazing. She was so helpful with everything. The grounds are also very pretty, with beautiful olive trees, flowering shrubs and cacti. The breakfast was good, but a 10 euro uncharge. That said, there were many things that we did not like about Hotel Capela Das Artes. The rooms were perfumed which gave both me and my wife a headache, the wifi was super spotty, the shower barely worked, the beds were hard. The hotel is going for a funky artistic vibe, but was a hodgepodge of things that were felt trended towards the tacky.

Nice territory with olive trees, but all buildings and rooms are worn out. Maybe somebody thinks it’s nice, kind of vintage, but it’s not comfortable staying at all, ROOMS: outdated. Two beds shifted together, but it didn’t become one bed. Rather spacious bedroom, bathroom isn’t big. Inconvenient sink, old style shower. There is terrace or balcony in the room. Room is equipped with a safe and teapot. LOCATION: 15min drive to the nearest beach, there are three restaurants nearby, Aldi supermarket in front of the hotel. FOOD: breakfast 8:30-11:00am €12 per person. FACILITIES: wi-fi is ok in room, but not so good in the terrace; outdoor swimming pool STAFF: polite, but not very welcoming. Be notified that reception deck works until 7pm.

Magnifique quinta avec une prestation digne d’un 4 étoiles. Accueil parfait (merci Julie), personnel agréable et sympathique, patron exceptionnel. Équipe parfait, hôtel reposant et typique avec beaucoup de charme. Petit déjeuner copieux de qualité. Une très belle expérience pour nous avec un rapport qualité prix parfait.

Simplesmente deslumbrante muito bem situado. Transpira calma e paz interior espaço ideal para repor energias. Com estacionamento gratuito e AC nos quartos e com um pequeno almoço muito bom. Staff 5 estrelas muito próximo de locais turísticos.

La salle de bain est grande et confortable, certes peut-être pas avec le même niveau d’équipement que dans un grand hôtel international (rideau de douche, mélangeur …). 3. La piscine et l’environnement : La piscine est superbe, un véritable atout pour se rafraîchir après une journée d'exploration. Le petit nombre de chambres permet un accès facile et tranquille. **4. Le petit déjeuner :** Le petit déjeuner est servi en plateau. Il est équilibré. Les produits sont frais et bons. Quelques options en self-service. **5. Le personnel :** L'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel sont remarquables. Mention spéciale pour Julie, la directrice de l'hôtel, dont la disponibilité et le sourire font la différence. Elle nous a notamment aidés à organiser une balade en bateau pour découvrir les magnifiques grottes de Benagil. En somme, l'hôtel Capela das Artes à Alcantarilha est une adresse de choix pour ceux qui recherchent un séjour authentique au Portugal. Le charme des lieux chargés d’histoire, l'accueil chaleureux et l'attention portée aux détails en font un endroit où l'on se sent bien.
