This exceeded every expectation. Fantastic service, great (and very large) room in excellent condition with a clean, fresh and huge bathroom. Add to that a very nice breakfast and you can understand my superlatives. We really enjoyed this stay. This is a gem not to be missed when in the area.

Hotel Ponti is a lovely boutique hotel in Angera, just across the street from the southern shores of Lago Maggiore. Four of us visited on a business trip to our local facility in nearby Taino. The hotel appears to have been put together from several adjacent buildings, leading to some interesting elevation changes and a combination of inside and outside entrances, but all within the protection of the hotel. It is nicely appointed in the rooms and public spaces in a contemporary style. The 3rd floor breakfast room (10 Euro if not included in your rate) was well stocked, and had a nice view of the lake and the park area across the street. Its floor to ceiling sliding glass opened to an outdoor dining deck, although it was a little chilly while we were there in November. There was also a rooftop deck accessed from the second floor on another section of the property that provided a panoramic view of the adjacent village area and of the castle perched on the limestone cliff just above. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the associated restaurant was also excellent. Recommended!

Highly recommended for a short stay; Gentle & flexible staff; Very clean; Astonishing terrace (breakfast) with one of the nicest views one can dream of: A magnificent & impeccable lake view. The lobby and reception opening hours could be extended.

This is a very nice hotel in a fantastic location in the centre of Angera, with views on the lake. Rooms are comfortable with modern decor. The highlight was the excellent breakfast that we could enjoy on the balcony of the top floor breakfast room, overlooking the lake. Highly recommended.

I was lucky to visit this hotel. Was a lovely stay. Quite possibly the cleanest room I have stayed in. Lovely staff and manager. Nothing was ever a problem and breakfast was very nice and relaxed. A nice position and easy to visit local bars and restaurants. Many thanks

I spent a pleasant night in this hotel. Room was clean and bathroom was big and the shower was good. Extensive breakfast buffet items were offered and I had a great breakfast experience viewing the lake while enjoying my breakfast. I would highly recommend this 3-star hotel. It's value for money.
