This hotel is great, the location in the plaza de arms makes it perfect for sight-seeing. There are no cars allowed so cannot be dropped out directly outside, but the hotel have an amazing team member called Roberto who ferried out cases back and forth for us. We also had an issue with one of the cases being damaged and again the hotel team went out of their way to try and help make it good for us, as we still had a lot of travelling to do. Our room was lovely we were at the top of the hotel so a partial view of the cathedral. The roof top pool was also an amazing extra and again the view was superb. The team at this hotel really made it for us they were welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to help us out.

Although there are no elevators in the hotel, which requires the travel to move their suitcase themselves, the excellent service by the staff can compensate it. The staffs are friendly and willing to help.

The location is great, safe and near the best touristic places, shops and restaurants to be visited. All the staff at Tierra Viva Plaza Arequipa hotel is 1000% helpful, polite, friendly and ready to run the second mile. Thank you for such an amazing customer service to all of them!!!😀 Wonderful a**osphere !! Nice music !!! Clean and fresh rooms !!! Delicious breakfast !!! Brilliant staff !!! Punctual transference from Cruz del Sur/ Airport to the hotel and viceversa !!! Superb customer service !!! A medieval building with conserved masonry. The pool is like a roman bath. Nice courtyards on the ground floors as well as on the upper floors. The main entrance looks like a castle. Love the decors. Our triple bed rooms had balconies with El Misti views.

ホテルは真新しく、とても丁寧に見え、良い場所にあります。サービスはフレンドリーで役に立ちました。私たちは何度もツアーを開き、午前3時に始まり、受付係は朝食バッグを入り口に積極的に持ってきました。彼らはまた、午後3時にフロントデスクに滞在します。残念ながら、朝の洗濯にはお湯がなく、水は良くありません。

Ideal hotel base to explore the plaza nearby and sightseeing. Lovely clean accommodation Warm helpful and welcoming staff Inexpensive Good food at the hotel Reception staff Rafael was so supportive and helpful in securing my diary which I left behind at Casa Andina miraflores Lima. Sadly Casa Andina Miraflores Lima did not secure this document containing my confidential information appropriately and it was discarded by someone at the hotel. A full explanation was not given to the destination of my diary or how it was disposed of ? Will not return to the hotel in Lima as they cannot be trusted with guests misplaced / lost property.

Run down, unclean, lack of facilities. Despite how lovely this hostel looks on photos it is very run down and not well kept. The pool is unclean and all of the communal cushions are dirty. Our bedroom didn’t lock and the door was hard to open and close meaning you couldn’t come in quietly. Our AVT and white water rafting trip was cancelled and we weren’t made aware until 10 minutes before when we asked about it. We were then advised a refund for this would take up to 20 days. We were also not made aware at all that the water was going to be off for over 24 hours. No water, at all. No toilets, no showers, no notice, whilst they continued to accept new guests who were seemingly unaware too.
