Autour du Petit Paradis

We booked 2 nights here, based on the beautiful online photos. On arrival, we were hurriedly shown to a small, cement, circular staircase that was too small to even bring up any luggage. Online it says private parking available - not true. We had to drive to a multi-story car park in the Center, take a few items out of our suitcases and leave the car there, anxious about the lack of security. Our rooms were very tiny, just a few inches wider than the bed; the bathroom was so small you could be using the toilet, have one foot in the tiny shower stall and wash your hands simlutaneously. We got no sleep, being on the noisy street. They represented their rooms as glamourous, and spacious but you can see from photos below, what we got was the opposite and was NOT a true representation of the property online. We were given a ful list of "charges" if we tried to steal any of the furniture or items from the room! 500 euros for the round table (our room had only half a table") etc. We found the "beautiful stairs and rooms" they used online, in another part of the hotel". The manager had disappeared, and the next morning when she returned, we registered our displeasure, but she was rude and refused to give us a refund for the 2nd night. We felt it had been a "bait and switch". We had to scramble and find another place out of town for the night. Beware! What you see is definitely NOT what you get here -

The apar**ent was old and furnishings were ok. We were in number 7. It would not be suitable for 4 people as there is one small bathroom that is accessed via the bedroom. Small tiny kitchen that works for an overnight stay. Nice little garden to the side. Great location. It was good value overall.

Rooms are set around a leafy courtyard that provides a relaxing space away from the bustle of the city. I'd describe the overall set up as shabby chic. There's a kitchenette inside a cupboard which provides what you need to serve breakfast or a light meal. One evening we bought fresh pasta and sauces from the Italian deli nearby for a quick and tasty meal. There are plenty of bars nearby and you are not far from all the main areas and attractions of Avignon What makes the place is Patrick. A superb host who is focused on ensuring guests have a relaxing stay. Reception may not be open all that much but the WhatsApp system of contact works really well. Patrick and his wife live on site which makes a difference.

Beautiful room, Sabine was so very helpful and kind to both of us. Fantastic location- walking distance to everything you'd want to do in Avignon. Everything about the stay was perfect! Thanks, Sabine, and I hope to see you again soon!

My husband and I just returned from a whirlwind trip to France. Our first stop was Avignon to see this region neither of us had visited before. Petit Paradis was a really lovely place to stay: on a quiet street, within walking distance to so much in the city center. Our room had a kitchenette, which came in handy when we wanted to pack a picnic (go to Les Halles to purchase bread, cheese, meat, quiches, and fruit) for a day trip to Pont du Gard. Bathroom had quick hot water and good shower pressure. Note: there is no elevator. Sabine was a very welcoming host, willing to let us practice our very rusty French with her. She provided a terrific folder of lists of restaurants, wineries, and other info. Would definitely stay here again!

Autour du Petit Paradis war während 14 Tagen meine Oase zum Schreiben. Ich hätte mir keinen besseren Ort vorstellen können als dieses Studio in der Altstadt – ruhig, dennoch zentral. Das alte charmante Gebäude, der lauschige grüne Innenhof sowie das geschmacksvoll eingerichtete Zimmer (im 1. Stock, mit Fenster zum Innenhof hin) waren eine inspirierende Umgebung. Die Kochnische verfügte über alles, was man braucht, und mein Koffer und Gepäck liessen sich angenehm im grosszügigen Schrank verstauen. Sabine und Patrick sind wunderbare und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Als ich um 11h die Unterkunft erreichte, um mein Gepäck bis zum Check-in am Nachmittag dort zu lassen, war mein Zimmer bereits bezugsbereit – danke!

法國冒險之戰的第一站我就開心極了。主人很棒，住處和房間也很完美。燈光，合適的房間大小，還有空調都很完美！城市城牆內的地理位置很奇特，很方便，所有城市都能提供。我強烈推薦這家酒店。
