Always a fantastic stay at our fav place in Newcastle, short work to the toon or the quayside so plenty to do and see and plenty of places to eat. Rooms are really clean and well equipped!! Can't wait to stay again!!

レセプションで親切なフレンドリーなスタッフ 良い場所。 私の部屋のバスルームには不快な臭い、臭い、おそらくトイレのパイプがあり、きれいでしたが、臭いは非常に不快でした。バスルームはトイレ用のパイプを抜いて更新する必要があります。私のような軽い眠りには適していません-夜は外の酔っ払いや外の人の音が聞こえます。橋を通り過ぎる電車はうるさく、他の部屋のゲストは騒音を出しました。快適なベッド&素敵なサイズの部屋&眺め。優れた仕事をする勤勉な家政婦💫💫💫お金に良い値。

Room was very tired. This use to be a lovely hotel but now, from our recent experience, it’s very much fur coat and no knickers. Lovely reception bar and dinning areas but our room was definitely not what Hilton use to stand for. Our room was very very tired. The wood work was all chipped and looking shabby, the pleather head board had numerous bare/worn areas and there was mould in the bathroom. Not sure if all rooms have these issues our just the ones you get if booked through trip.com.

We had booked a junior suite. On arrival we were greeted warmly and efficiently checked in. We were given our key and told we were in room 118. We were told that we had to go up one floor in the lift and then backdown the stairs as our room was in between floors. It was the only room at that level. Had I have known that I wouldn’t have booked it as I was travelling with my mum who is post surgery with a new hip, and stairs and luggage were a bit of a challenge. Anyway, once inside our suite was perfect. It consisted of a living/dining/kitchen room with a sofa, TV and pretty much a full kitchen, I.e Hob, fridge with an ice box, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom was made to feel a little small as the bed was absolutely huge, it also had a TV in there too. The bathroom was quite standard but spotlessly clean. The only gripe I had was there was only one electric heater and that was in the bedroom, so if you were cold I had to go into the bedroom. Would I stay there again…..yes but perhaps in a room that didn’t need to climb stairs.

Everything was as expected except for clenness - the cups and spoons were not cleaned, there were stains of coffe or tea from the previous stay, we washed them. The most terrible part was bathroom: - there was a stainfull unwashed towel on the bathroom floor as we entered the room but even worse was the shower cabin. It was all slippery from the previous person’s shower and lots of short shaved hairs - all in all, the room was ok but the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. One more thing to mention would be a lot of noises from other guests which explains the poor sound-proofing of rooms.

絶好のロケーションにある素敵なホテル。しかし、夕方に部屋に戻ったとき、ホテルのパンフレットから、これは真夜中に終わると示されていた大きなディスコが私たちの上を歩いていました。まだ午前2時にそれを聞いた。ルームサービスも注文しようとしましたが、電話で応答がありませんでした。 最後に、私たちは日曜日の朝8時に目が覚めました。掃除人が家具を全部動かして床をこすり落とすような音がしました。 チェックアウト時に言及しましたが、スタッフは謝罪しましたが、あまり誠実に聞こえませんでした。戻りたくないでしょう。

予約がカウンティホテルなのか、カウンティアパートホテルなのかをしっかり確認する必要があります。予約時に明確に確認できなかったからです。カウンティホテルの方が立地は良いのですが、アパートホテルは駅から遠いです。私たちが泊まったアパートホテルの部屋は広かったですが、少し古かったです。ベッドは使い込まれていて、少し硬かったです。しかし、全体的には悪くない部屋でしたが、最高というわけではありませんでした。

I had an early morning flight and wanted the least worry option for making the flight. I chose the Britannia primarily because of its location but was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The staff were very helpful and courteous, the prices of food and drink were very reasonable which was another eye opener as I’ve encountered the kind of airport hotel overpricing that normally entails travelling. All in all it was probably the best value for money hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been all over the world. Neil

Depends what you want. We just needed somewhere to stay over after a concert. The downstairs is a massive loud bar, very popular with young folk. But upstairs, in the hotel rooms, you hear the noise less, and bar closes at 11pm. Hotel is rather shabby, but rooms are fine and have what you need. There’s a £50 deposit against damage. Staff were brilliant, really nice. Basic breakfast in a bag, as part of price, was unexpected bonus… or you can pay extra for cooked. Not a slap up luxury hotel, but fine for a basic stay over. I’d use it again.
