Always a fantastic stay at our fav place in Newcastle, short work to the toon or the quayside so plenty to do and see and plenty of places to eat. Rooms are really clean and well equipped!! Can't wait to stay again!!

This is my second time staying here.... its very comfortable... easy to access... fast respond.

Quiet location next to the river, the hotel seems old but everything was clean and fully functional, the rooms are huge. But when I asked for toothbrush , the staff told us we can get it from the vending machine in the hotel, but the vending machine was broken and seems like the staff didn’t know which was a bit disappointing.

This was a perfect place for someone who arrived solo just for a few days. It’s in a perfect location and super clean. It came with a kettle, some snacks and enough pillows to chose from. Theres a TV and it was basically perfect for the short stay. Thanks.

Excellent location close to railway station and Arena. Only a 10 minute walk into city centre.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, but it’s quite a walk to the main attractions. The reception staff were very friendly, and the service overall was excellent. However, the hotel itself feels a bit dated and could use some renovation.

As always the staff were fantastic check in was fast and easy the room was spacious and clean and Jim the concierge was on form as always. There is work being done but there was no noise or disruption to our stay. We always choice the Vermont when visiting Newcastle as the location is perfect.

The location of the hotel is right opposite St James’ Park stadium, which is perfect as we were there to watch Newcastle United Football Club’s matches. It is easily accessible to every area of the town and also walkable to the city centre and the train station. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sandman Signature Newcastle hotel and would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Newcastle!
