AMAZING stay! Rooms were spacious and clean with shampoo, shower gel AND conditioner. Air con was strong. Good toilet flush and shower pressure. They also allowed us to have a late check out since the room was not needed the next day. Appreciated the very good size pool. The steam and sauna were also lovely and hot. We didn't eat breakfast but the space looked huge. It's right next door to the Select Car Leasing Stadium (Madejski Stadium) with parking on site.

I had a fantastic stay here! It's in a great location in the centre of town. The room is spacious with plenty of amenities. Highly recommended.

Very good breakfast good service. Dinner slow and food couldbe better. Room well decorated and quiet but very dark. On the whole a good stay.

The staff is friendly and polite. Although it’s a bit of a drive from Newbury and closer to Thatcham, the location isn’t too bad. There are even public transport links, with a bus stop outside on the line that connects Newbury to Reading. I haven’t tried the food yet, as it seemed a bit expensive to me. However, there’s a pub nearby that serves excellent food. Unfortunately, there’s no air conditioning, but fans are provided.

This BEST WESTERN is feeling its age but is all there for the occasional user. The rooms are basic but functional, the bathroom is a bit cramped but all works and the bed is comfortable and the tea making services available. It does however hit a price point that is otherwise difficult to find in the Reading area.

Check in was a bit slow . But stay was decent but they could work on their cleanliness as the bath tube had stains and the toilet flush was not stopping at all was running through the whole night. And bed covers had some stains as well
