Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful historic Manior . Such a lovely welcome by Howell to this amazing property with its immaculate and tastefully designed rooms. The breakfasts were wonderful only to be surpassed by the evening meal cooked by Howell himself who looked after the guests so well. The local wines provided were an excellent accompaniment. This is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place in a wonderful part of the country - the hosts are so kind as well as being very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their region. We appreciated the generous welcome drinks and breakfast - as well as the opportunity to relax by the pool while the room was super clean and comfortable. The chapel is absolutely gorgeous!

I visited Manoir de Jouralem with my mother and our dogs, and our only negative is that we stayed for one night and not more. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a beautiful, spacious room before being handed a refreshing glass of cremant. The gardens are lovely, and to have our delicious breakfast sitting by the natural pool was a highlight. We were recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, which was entirely local and a great setting. Mel and Hywel have created the most comfortable, luxurious B&B and we look forward to returning.

We stayed at the Manoir for 2 nights on our way back to Caen. Had La Reine. Lovely room - huge - and great walk in shower. Hywel was very helpful and friendly and produced great scrambled eggs at breakfast! Shame the weather wasn’t warm enough to try the pool out.

We stayed for one night as a stop over before catching a ferry back to the UK, but now realise that we should have stayed longer and used the Manoir as a base to explore the local area. We will be back. The accommodation is a beautifully restored and appropriately modernised building. The owners clearly work exceptionally hard to maintain a superb standard, and create a perfect mix of efficiency, friendliness and good humour. Both the evening meal and the breakfast were excellent.
