Not as great as I would have liked. My husband had stayed before and raved about the hotel. The beach side was closed for refurbishment so we were put in a small room at the Cloisters. There were a number of issues. Coffee machine not working and luke warm water from shower. A technician arrived as soon as we reported the water problem and he got it fixed. AC stayed at 68. Couldn’t turn change the temperature except for turning it off, but I prefer a cold room to a warm room so I could suck this up. Every morning we were woken by reversing vehicles. 6:30 AM. No apology for this. No discounts on bill. So be warned and beware. Ask for a room that isn’t at the back of the Cloisters. Restaurants: Palm Court - beautiful and great cocktails. Excellent service and provided us with food after a late arrival even though kitchen was supposed to be closed. 5 stars. We had booked the Italian restaurant, Principessa. Not hugely impressed. It took over an hour from our starter to our main course arriving. The couple next to us received their main before us in spite of being seated half an hour later. I am assuming that they lost the original order in the kitchen. Seated right by the exit in spite of booking well in advance. 5/10. Flamingo Grill - tried on our last night. Surly reception (tall man). Great waiter (English). Food was good and service was good. 7/10. Spa - amazing space. Had a wonderful lunch - 10/10 Can’t recommend service and food more highly. Excellent massage. Pedicure was frankly so so but that was down to the therapist I think. She was trying to sell additional services and products (which frankly irritates me). Not much work done on the feet but ho hum. Overall wouldn’t go back based on money spent and experience though there were some good bits that stood out.
Our experience and stay was fabulous. Ana at the front desk is so accommodating friendly professional and sweet! She welcomed us & made our checkin experience positive and quick! All of the ladies are kind. Rooms are older however they are quiet & clean. Hallways can be a bit more tidy. Hotel is close to everything and in a nice area. We will be retuning. Thank you
ゲゲストIn my opinion the reviews here are way too generous. I choose this hotel over the Embassy Suites during Christmas Week because reviews pointed to the dated décor at the Embassy Suites. The Embassy Suites is a palace compared to this hotel. Our room had a toilet held together by a rubber band and specific instructions of how to flush the toilet. The bath was extremely filthy. When I told the front desk person he immediately said ”I agree with you” and helped me get a refund. The hotel is also in an odd location, near a very loud reliever airport. I would stay away.
RRussell CI was here for 5 days and everything was on point room was awesome and clean the service was above average. If i needed anything the staff stepped right up and assisted and made me feel very welcome and at home. The front desk staff was great and very professional . The Hotel Manager was awesome I left to fly home and my flight was canceled could not get a flight for 2 more days i called the Hotel spoke to the desk manager who remembered me and immediately put me at ease and got me a room I have asthma and was stressing but she was awesome . I would recommend to anyone stay here you will not be disappointed I'am coming to see my son at FAU College in October and will not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to the Wyndam Family Russell
Front desk staff were awesome - Michelle and Gabriela. The pool was fabulous, we spent most of our time lounging in the water. Our housekeeper Jusela (?) had the best smile and always greeted us well. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable but one oddity : no dresser, tiny 4 inch shelf where there should be a dresser or larger shelf ...seemed like a design flaw to me.....there was a wardrobe area but still needed counter space. Our Room, 304, faced the pool which was a pleasant view. Would definitely go back.
