ゲゲストYi Yuan Village is a quaint, peaceful and authentic hideaway in the mountains, away from the tourist crowds that cause chaos further down the valley back towards Song Yang City. It has a few homestays, ours at Yi Yin being the best and most recently opened. The host family (Ceng) is generous and hospitable, friendly, polite and helpful. Rooms were spotless and clean, nicely furnished and easy to reach, nearer the entrance to the village. All meals were freshly made with home-made or locally sourced ingredients, very tasty! They helped us arrange several day trips with an excellent driver (Xiao Bao) whom I also highly recommend. He can be contacted through the host family; he is popular, so I would suggest you request his services once you have confirmed your stay at Yi Yin. Yi Yin is well placed for visiting the surrounding area; there is daily, regular public transport to and from the village and surrounding countryside.
TTobias F.We had a amazing time here. We arrived by taxi in the village (which is beautiful) and got a beautiful room. The host and his family are really friendly. They showed us the surrounding and we ate together. In the area are a lot of beautiful old buildings and also some moderne buildings (tofu factory and rice wine factory). We felt like a part of the village and loved to stay here!
JJiji.mI wanted a place to escape the bustle of Shenzhen for a while, so I researched numerous hotels before choosing this one primarily for the view and the balcony. When I arrived, I was truly speechless, the room was stunning, the bed unbelievably comfortable, and the view simply breathtaking. On top of that, the host was incredibly nice and helpful, offering to show me around since I was traveling alone. This trip was wonderful, and I can’t wait to come back again! Also If you’re unsure which village to stay in, this one has the most beautiful views, making you want to capture every corner in photos. Plus, the hotel has the best view of the entire village!
WWendThis guesthouse sits right in the heart of Songyang’s historic old street, surrounded by bustling shops. The decor beautifully captures traditional Chinese aesthetics, creating an exquisite and authentic atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean. What truly stood out was the exceptional service and the delicious, varied breakfast. Highly recommended!
MMassimiliano ItalyNice place located on the mountain valley. High level structure quite new. Restaurants has got good quality food and rooms are bigger and well equipped. Little bit far from train stations. Recommended for couples
ゲゲストThis is a good place to stay on the old street, if you want all the mod cons. Lovely balcony to sit out in the evening and our room had two large double beds which worked very well for a family. The Chinese breakfast is filling and we got a free lift up the mountain from the hotel. We would definitely stay again. Good restaurants on Xinhua Lu nearby.
