DdavylegrandHotel Bendinat in Mallorca is one of those rare gems that feels like a home away from home. Having stayed here multiple times over the years, I can confidently say that it offers a perfect blend of understated luxury, Mediterranean charm, and tranquility.
The location is simply unbeatable—perched right on the coastline, with stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Bay of Palma. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is something I look forward to every time I visit. The hotel’s lush gardens, with their towering palm trees and cozy lounge areas, create an atmosphere of total relaxation.
The rooms are elegantly designed in a classic Mediterranean style, with whitewashed walls, wooden accents, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Many of them come with private terraces, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening. While the décor is timeless, the hotel has managed to maintain a fresh and well-kept feel over the years.
One of the highlights of every stay is dining at Las Terrazas de Bendinat, the hotel’s restaurant. Sitting right by the sea, it offers some of the best seafood dishes on the island. Their paella and grilled fish are a must-try, and the service is always warm and attentive. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a long, leisurely lunch with a view of the shimmering water.

Das Hotel ist ganz neu, modern und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Besonders begeistert hat uns das unglaublich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal ein großes Dankeschön an Herrn Pablo für den tollen Service!
Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielseitig, und die Zimmer waren einfach wunderschön.
Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

ゲゲストVery relaxing stay in the Plaza Hotel. Room's are very compact but comfortable and we had a nice front facing balcony looking out over the main roundabout of santa ponsa. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful especially Lia on reception who helped us check into our room and made our stay very relaxing. The location of the hotel is perfect to access the beach only 5 minutes walk and the main bus and taxi terminal is right on your doorstep should you want to travel to anywhere on the island. Don't forget to try Pina Colada!

CChristianSkasTolle Lage in zweiter Reihe zum Strand. Das Highlight ist der Infinity-Pool auf dem Dach. Mit Glasboden und Blick aufs Meer. Allerdings ist der Pool nicht beheizt. Das Frühstück bot viel Auswahl. Sowohl internationale, als auch spanische Speisen waren vorhanden. Für unseren Geschmack allerdings viel zu süß. Vor allen Dingen die künstlichen Säfte waren fast ungenießbar. Das Standard-Zimmer mit Balkon und Stadtblick. Nicht riesig, aber angenehm ausgestattet. Mit breitem Bett, offener Garderobe, Mikrowelle und kostenloser Mini-Bar (Wasser, Säfte, täglich aufgefüllt). Kein Luxus-Hotel, aber insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert...!!!

絶好のロケーション。素敵なフレンドリーなスタッフ。朝食レベルからの眺めは素晴らしかったです!
部屋からの眺めはひどいものでした。私はエンドルームを持っていたので、私のバルコニーは壁に面していて、他のゲストからのゴミが投げ込まれていました。それを自分でクリアしました。
部屋の大きさは素晴らしいです!私の部屋で本当に家にいるように感じました。
バスルームにはいくつかの清潔さの問題があり、シンク、シャワーフロア、シャワージェル、シャワーハンドルに短いカールした淡い茶色の髪がたくさんありました。しかし、これは何も台無しにしませんでした。部屋のために、私が言っている唯一のことは、やかんのお茶/コーヒー製造施設などの基本的なホテルの部屋のアイテムが欠けていることです。バスルームでそのようなボディクリームのビット。
それとは別に、それは素晴らしい滞在であり、私は戻ってきます!

ゲゲストThis is our 2nd trip to this hotel. It’s now on a B&B only ( we had half board last year) with the breakfast served across the road in a restaurant with the best views across the bay! Great selection of food and drinks.
The man on reception is super helpful and friendly even at 11.45pm!
Lovely small hotel with a small pool
Comfy beds and the balcony is spacious with an area to dry towels etc. The hotel offers towels for rent but we bought one for €5 in the supermarket next door.
Cleaned every day and cleaned well.
Lots of restaurants and shops close by.
The fabulous beach is a 10minute stroll, with a massive supply of sun beds ( €20.50 a day for 2 beds under a fixed umbrella and an attached safety box)
We will definitely go back to Playas del Rey
