ゲゲストIt was a lovely stay in Avignon. We booked for 2 rooms and stayed for 6 nights. The rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished. The location is wonderful with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops, but not as crowded as the areas near the Avignon Centre train station. Walkable to all major attractions like the bridge and the Pope’s Palace. Room perfectly cleaned every day with all utensils you may need for preparing breakfast or even dinner if you wish. Highly recommend and would definitely book again if we visit Avignon in future.

For this price, you need to put your own sheets and set up your own bed, AND still have to send it downstairs (didn’t seem mandatory but encouraged). My ceiling walls were peeling, my bunk bed frame made of cold metal, and the tap was hard to control — water kept flowing out even if we pressed the knob lightly. I slept well on the first night but on the second, homeless people were screaming and harassing a girl, woke my roommates up and we weren’t sure if we should call the police. You’re better off another hostel. Breakfast variety was ok.
