I had a couple of days' meetings at Söderhörn University, and chose this hotel as it's proximal (a 5-minute walk both to the university and to Karolinska hospital). Rooms are spacious, clean, and evidently set for hospital patients as the bathrooms are designed to assist. The bed is comfortable, the windows triple-glazed to keep out street noise (and presumably, in winter, the cold). Note that the breakfast buffet is no longer offered, instead there's a breakfast *box” in the room's fridge - it's not inspiring food, but it's there. Coffee/tea from 07-10 in the lobby. The hotel helpfully sent me an sms with entry directions - the lobby is staffed from 07-15 only. Located next to a food court, beside a supermarket, and across the street from Marrakech restaurant - excellent lunches available in Marrakech. Caveat: while the location is fine, the rooms and comfort excellent, there's nothing whatsoever to do in Flemingsberg once the workday ends. If I had to do this over, I'd stay in Stockholm and take the SL train down every day.
We are in Stockholm, not Huddinge! We are however at the Hotel with that name. Thank you for opening here even though it’s been since Christmas! No less! It’s our first night here. Thanks! We like the area Kungens Kurva and all the shopping. There is a lot to do. We could stay forever prob! Thank you very much! There is even two Donken! Alas we slept mostly!
Highly recommend Scandic Kungens kurva. Great staff, especially the breakfast staff, so friendly and helpful. Great value for money, free parking (a lot of other hotels charge you for that) and not far from central Stockholm. With car you are easily in downtown in about 15 min by E4. We stay here almost all times we visit Stockholm.
