La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brunswick/Golden Isles

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very nice and the beds were so comfortable. THIS HOTEL IS VERY PET FRIENDLY. If you have an allergy, like I do, make sure you request a room on a floor that does not have pets. I was originally booked on a floor with pets, but I told the staff and the manager placed us on the fourth floor. The staff try to keep the first and second floors for guests with pets. Another issue was that the shower would lose water pressure if you tried to take a hot shower, dramatically decrease. Shower took longer, but the bathroom was beautiful.

I didn’t like the fact that I had to leave my room on Monday morning for three hours due to them having to clean the carpet. Very inconvenient!!!!! Will not use La Quinta again.

One light that has a short in it next to the bed would not stay on. No hair dryer in the room. No extra pillows in the room. We have stayed here three other times and it was great, but this time not so much. Breakfast lacking in variety, Fruit all not ripe. No potatoes, No containers of milk for the kids. Juice station great, eggs good and so was the sausage. Check-in person was great and check-out person was great,

Overall it was fine, but just looked like everything needed to be cleaned a little better. Not sure if it was work crews tracking in a mess or what. There were dirty spots on our couch and the floor looked like it needed vacuumed. Doesn't help that they don't clean the room during the stay. Breakfast was good, could be a few more options to make it better. Also got till 9:30 would be nice.

The air conditioning at this hotel was really bad. I had to be moved once because the unit just kept blowing warm air. The new room gave me some cool air, but not good enough. And the hallways to the rooms were warm too. I realize it isn’t summertime, but some people are warmer than others, and air should always be working as well as heat. Very disappointing stay.

Overall, the hotel is pretty good. The rooms are dark, even after turning on all the lights. We had a problem with the HVAC. The thermostat was set at 69. Early in the morning, the heat turned on and stayed on. It was 80 degrees in the room when we got up. We called and someone came up immediately and restarted the unit. It was fine for the few hours until we checked out. The breakfast is very good

Loved the property. Unfortunately the bar that is advertised cannot serve alcohol..the only other issue was that housekeeping did not vacuum my room before I arrived. Otherwise the room was clean. Just the floors not.
