ペッパー(Pepper)

Hotel is on "the" street, Calle 59, in the center of the Historic District, one block from the cathedral, Independence Plaza and Sea Gate with city walls. The hotel was undergoing renovations at time of stay, and as a consequence, the room was dusty, especially the floors. The room was comfortable and provided with Google smart features. Room was simplistic in design, with exposed ceiling beams, piping and cable ducting. Unusual but not unattractive. Bathroom was small and shower flooring of stone chips, very uncomfortable. Hotel had in house restaurant "Menta". Good breakfasts and average fare for other meals. Food too salty for the most part for my wife. Service was super slow when restaurant was busy. Unusual decor in common spaces and indoor restaurant seating. Very popular stree seating for al fresco dining. Provided 10% discount for diners entered in the Ironman event the weekend of our stay.

Great location but the bathroom could use a fix up.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in a junior suite with a little, second floor balcony looking out on the very cool, pedestrian only 59th Street and a slight view of the Gulf of Mexico. This very historic building has been renovated with an artistic flair and interesting technology. In brief, we were comfortable, had no complaints, and definitely liked the vibe of the location. We would stay there again without hesitation.

The Building is a newly renovated house from the 18th century (or so). Our room was spacy and the balcony is directly above the lovely padestrian mainstreet. The stuff is nice and very helpful since they are campeche-locals. Extra: Room is equipped with google smart home light and smart air condition.

Desafortunadamente a pesar de todas las recomendaciones, tuvimos una mala experiencia, la habitación la terminaron de alistar y reparar de temas del baño después de la 6pm. El tipo de habitación rústica o de casco antiguo que se indica no es lo mismo a muros de mampostería dañados y sin sellador, lo cual siempre teníamos polvo que constantemente va cayendo de muros, techos etc. No me parece un hotel para un costo como el que indican, por lo cual considero que la administración del hotel deben replantearse, ya que parece más una posada que un hotel boutique ( hablando de las habitaciones ) por lo demás del hotel falta claro mantenimiento y falta de personal
