The location is perfect for visiting Monaco without a car, bus 600 Nize-Monaco-Menton stops less than 5 minutes away. The hotel, although somewhat dated, expected it to be much worse based on other reviews I have read. The bed was very comfortable. There are only two parking spaces in front of the hotel, on a very narrow, steeply sloping street. Parking in the area is very complicated and you have to pay for everything. The paid parking in front also has very narrow spaces, with a large car it is very difficult to park there. The basement rooms are small spaces, they don't appear in the hotel photos and although they are cheaper, I thought it was only because of the terrace or the views. Having only been there for one night and almost the entire day of sightseeing in Monaco, we didn't care a little, but I don't recommend them. There was also a lot of noise at night, a man in another room was shouting and arguing with another person.

Stayed in the largest room at this place with my daughter. Upon arrival the front desk woman told me all the necessary things in English and when i asked about parking and free parking she said to park up top (not free). I parked and asked about the 2 spots occupied by the hotel and she said, "im sorry i don't speak English." Like really??!! You were speaking perfect English before??! So I made it a priority to get a spot and when one car moved out i moved mine in asap. The owner of the property is as terrible as a horror movie. She had the nerve to yell at me because I parked slightly out the line and her kids with their large BMW couldn't pass. As i was trying to fix the situation she kept saying, "what kind of person parks like that?... " i was ready to call the police"... going on and on it was VERY disrespectful and embarrassing. It's a small spot and to be slightly out of line in my vw golf seemed SHE was way out of line. The AC is at lowest capacity!! Took a full day to get the room to cool down and that was with me, conditioned to shut the bathroom door all the time because it's a hot box!!! This whole hotel/MOTEL is not worth it!!! No free parking, no ac till you run it all day and if you do, don't get your room cleaned cause you'll be back to square one of humid heat. DONT GET BAITED INTO BREAKFAST! Its a sad spread and they charge 19 euro pp! Bathroom has no covered glass on window so your exposed, shower spills water ALL OVER THE BATHROOM FLOOR. Stay in NICE! Or MONACO Don't be cheap like me and deal with this!! Read others and their reviews on how inappropriate the owner is and disrespectful she and her manager are. Owner if you read this...Shame on you! YOU HAD NO REASON TO BE RUDE TO YOUR GUEST!!!!! GOOD LUCK:(((

Cute but the Plage is 15 min. walk straight down and a HIKE back! 2 scary parking spots and I had to move a planter to get in one! There is NO lift! The only thing scarier than the parking is the owner! Watch out for her! The girl at the desk is very sweet.

An absolute disappointment in quality and service. We encountered the rudest and most arrogant manager. The hotel advertises itself as being close to the beach, so when we arrived, we asked for two beach towels, which the front desk provided. However, during checkout, we were charged for using the towels. The manager explained that we needed to pay extra because she had to wash them, but the way she said it was unbelievable. This is the rudest French person I have ever met in my entire life. Clearly, she forgot what business she’s in. Hotels are supposed to serve and accommodate customers, including providing towels. Overall, the place feels more like a one-star hotel. It’s extremely old, not very clean, the linens were stained, the rooms are incredibly tiny, and there was no electric kettle in the room. Avoid at all costs.

It was really small and hard to find, and breakfast was great. Windows didn’t fully close which was a bit odd, but none of my belongings were stolen. It’s a family owned business but the only thing is I wish there was an elevator or doorman after 8pm. Lugging my suitcases down multiple flights of stairs at 4 in the morning and having the taxi driver help was annoying and disturbing to other guests.

We had a one night stay at Hotel Normandy. We arrived and the women were very friendly at reception. Reception closes at 20:00, and we got there just in time to have a quick chat and get our keys. Parking is a bit tricky in front of the hotel so we parked nearby in the Office of Tourism which was free until 9am the following day. The room was small, but clean and well-presented, with a water view! Only issue was that there was no air conditioning, but we had the windows open and the breeze was good. We didn’t stay for breakfast, so I cannot comment.

What a charming boutique hotel.Everything about the hotel is so welcoming.We had a large double room with lounge, double bed and table.Huge bathroom. Staff were so friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was a highlight cereals, yoghurts,eggs any type,omlettes,fresh croissants,fresh fruit. Such good value. Would come back just to stay here. Also walking distance to small beach Thank you. Will see you again Victoria
