シャトー・ド・モン・アン・アルマニャック(Château de Mons en Armagnac)

We had lunch here today and it was superb. I highly recommend it. We were given a very warm welcome, the service was friendly but not pushy and the 3-course set meal was excellent and good value for money.

My wife and i dined here whilst on holiday on a Friday evening. We were amazed there was one other person eating in such a large building. The 5 course menu was ok, but nothing special, but the waiter and service was excellent. We chateau decor looked shabby. There must be something drastically wrong with the reputation/ marketing that only 3 people eat at such a magnificent building on a Friday evening.

Beautiful building in a beautiful setting. Lovely grounds. The rooms are comfortable but basic and the bathrooms in particular could do with modernization. Plus a power outlets for charging would be nice. Super friendly staff.

I stayed four nights here, having three days to explore some local Armagnac producers. I felt warmly welcome, was extremely well looked after and the help with organising visits made every day superb.

Last summer my partner and I celebrated our fairytale wedding at this lovely Chateau. We were helped enormously in the preparation by Arnold and Sophie. Nearly everything was possible in consultation, they listened carefully and thought with us to make the day as special and beautiful as we had in mind. The chateau and surroundings are well taken care of and beautiful, the food and drinks throughout the day were beautifully prepared and tasted delicious and the visit to the Armagnac museum was a lovely addition to the day. We, and our guests, greatly enjoyed the hospitality and service of Arnold and Sophie and the rest of the staff, in preparation and moreover on the day itself. We had a wonderful day/weekend on which we are still reminiscing. We are very grateful for this! Kind regards from the Netherlands

Its a great area to see the French coubtryside. Its def a complete opposite of the hustle an bustle of Paris. The chateau has a very inviting feeling. The managers are so accomodating, nuce, and very knowledgeable. The armagnac tasting is phenomenal. I couldnt ask for a much better place to stay in the a**agnac region. I hihgly recommend this place.

Feels like home...

Très beau château, très bien restaurer avec un personnel (employé et patron) très sympathique et très simple, facile d'accès et des explications sur le domaine et la vinification vraiment au top. A noter un restaurant de bonne facture avec des assiettes plutôt gastro. Chambre triple simple petit bémol sur la literie vieillissante , le patron m'a d'ailleurs signalé qu'il modifie petit à petit les chambres pour les rendre plus en adéquation avec le reste du cadre qui est vraiment superbe. Tarif raisonnable que ce soit pour les chambre ou à la boutique.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce très beau château. Les hôtes sont d’une extrême gentillesse, toujours disponibles et à l'écoute. La restauration est de très bonne qualité, le repas de la Saint Valentin était digne d’un gastronomique, raffiné, original. Merci encore à Cédric pour la très instructive visite du chai et sa connaissance du château. Nous avons hâte d’y retourner ! Excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous recommandons vivement.
