ヴュー マジーク リゾーツ アンド キャンプス(Vue Magique Resorts and Camps)

A brief but well spent holiday at Vue Magique. Easily approachable, located on the Chail Kufri road within a 100mts. diversion, the place offers some lovely views of Shimla Hills with nice green areas. Though it was a bit lacking on the maintainence part, yet the staff was really co-operative and helpful. Food was nice. Overall worth visiting once!!

Chail is a sleepy little hamlet and Vue Magique Resort is the icing on top! If you love to holiday at a destination in the hills where there is little to no mobile network and you have nothing to do except gazing at the vast spread of hills; reading a book with a cup of coffee/tea by your side; then Chail is the place to be. And vue magique resort is recommended as it has all the facilities which would make your holiday memorable. To begin with they have ample parking space. Then, Mr. Monu Sharma, the front desk ***ager is always eager to help you and is prompt with answers to your queries. The food they served at breakfast and dinner was non-spicy; so you don’t have to worry about having an upset stomach after your stay. They are pretty generous with the portions they serve. We had high tea with pakoras and cookies; and the portions were enough for 4 people. We stayed for 3 nights during the Independence Day weekend and We enjoyed our stay. They have a pool table, Table tennis, foose ball, cricket, badminton, wall climbing, Burma bridge, swings for kids. It rains at the property anytime and you are greeted by clouds and mist! We checked in room 208 and it had the best view possible! The tariffs are also reasonable. This resort is rated as a three star property; but that may be due to absence of swimming pool, gym, spa, bar; but who needs these facilities when you are in heaven of Himachal! P.S: The resort is around 5 kms. Ahead of Chail at Janedghat.

Pathetic service and total waste of money. Torn linen, unhygienic washrooms. Honeymoon suite was not decorated, pool had no water and was dirty.telephone did not work most of the time and there was no solution provided.

Had a great vacation at this resort with my family. The service was amazing. The staff was very helpful and served us well, especially at the dining hall. The food was really good, served hot, right amount of spice and a good variety on the menu. The only suggestion, would be to include more sweet dishes. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, a good variety of north and south indian options. The archery and gun shooting activity was a nice touch, although not very well maintained it was a fun addition to the resort. The so called adventure sports like ropeways, bridges and zipline seemed underwhelming, so we didn't try those. The resort had a good supply of hot water, 24x7, except one time when the pipe on the roof broke, which they fixed quickly. There is a room heater provided which was fine but not enough to beat the sub 10C temperatures throughout the room.
