Quick and friendly check-in. Neat modern spacious room with good beds. Nice spacious rain shower. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Public spaces are very clean. The hotel also boasts a beautiful terrace, where you can sit nicely, enjoy coffee with homemade pastries Spacious car park.

Everything was great, just change the coffee at breakfast.

İt was amazing hotel. I hope i can visit again later. It’s breakfast is awesome. This is one of the part of i will miss. Thanks to Domen plaznik for everything. Rooms are clean and there is a minibar.

Friendly stuff. Good breakfast, clean room. Expacily Domen Plaznık is so kind and helpful The everyone kind and nice place to in velenje the hotel is close to everything example to macdonalds or the city center.

I am rating only new restaurant Haus, not hotel/coffee shop, etc. Haus should be upscale steak house. But you can't reach that with new interior and smarter looking dressed waiters. Firstly, food, especially steaks, should be prepared perfectly. Ours were far from that. Excuse: the cook is off Monday-Tuesday. And? Who then prepared burned steak? Also waiters should have more knowledge about food and wines. On other occasion we had more-dish menu, from "correct" chef. This food was good, much better than steak mentioned above. Still, waiters should have knowledge of what we eat and about wine card. In general I was dissapointed, hope they can improve, and I hope to taste the steak from the real chef, if I will be lucky enough to be there when he is also at work.

I had a bussines dinner in the new restaurant HAUS in Hotel Paka. The menu only has 6 things (4 steaks and 2 sea dishes). The prices are relatively high. We were served fast and correct. The food was average. Not the perfect quality to price ratio!

My wife and I stayed 1 night, arriving by rental car at 3PM and parking in front. A gentleman receptionist copied our passports/vaccinations, told us about breakfast and WIFI, then pointed to the 2 elevators. Room #401 was a newly renovated carpeted suite, a deluxe accommodation with 2 TV’s with guide(BC/CNN and more in English), minibar and 3 large opening windows with view of the castle. One room had a comfortable queen, a fully outfitted bathroom with a small shower and a convertible couch in the 2nd room. The 6:30 AM breakfast buffet held in their restaurant was serviced and complete with juice, eggs, cereals, meats, smoked salmon, breads, yogurts, cheeses with coffee/tea, and fresh fruit. This 53 room business hotel built in 1961 is located in the town center 1 block from the Mercator Supermarket. Its quiet with good secure WIFI, has a nice cafe with desserts and gelato and makes for a good value stay.

Been here for a small stop, just three days. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly, do not expect nothing special since the structure is a bit " vintage" ( from the 60s) and you can still breath some " comunism " feeling. What to say, it is a very good 3 stars hotel or an average 4 stars. Why? Because the time the hotel was built there weren't today comforts, I mean some improvements like aircon were lately added, and you can hear the noise of the machines mounted outside when you sleep. There are no balcony of any sort, and yes the rooms are nice and clean but it is a jump in the past in term of modernity. The food is OK, I mean edible, do not expect high level cousine. Repeat, just for a little stop.
