Visiting from tampa to seek shelter from hurricane and the staff couldn’t have been better. Property underwent a total remodel and looks great. Matt at the front desk was very helpful and Elvie in the lounge made us feel like at home. Huge plus they don’t charge for parking
Had to stay here due to Hurricane Milton. Staff was super friendly and made me and my family feel at home. The breakfast was freshly made every morning it feels amazing to be greeted with a friendly smile while I enjoy a good cup of coffee. Room was clean and felt homey. No issues on this trip.
Clean and VERY QUIET! Whomever wrote about a train must have been reviewing another hotel because the place was full of teens traveling for a competition and I couldn't hear a thing in the hallways or outside. I slept better than I do at home on the comfy pillows after a hot shower with a spa-like heavy spray. I've never been tempted to steal but... I miss those fluffy towels. The hard laminate floors gave me an allergy-free stay as well. Little touches like the 52” TV and the blackout shades fitting into a frame (zero light getting through) make it more than worth the price. I could only eat a fraction of the items I love to eat at breakfast since there were too many options. I went for the gravy over biscuits (the menu may rotate but I got lucky). I almost booked the hotel again the next month but I will if it fits my travel needs.

Developer Inn & Suites Airport Jax, a Baymont by Wyndham
PParadise49901924785I'm a Gold level Marriott member so I write this with genuine disappointment, especially as outside of this event this was mr new 'go-to' hotel when I needed to come to Jacksonville for medical at Mayo. I'm in my 2nd of a 2 night stay. I had a had a medical procedure this morning which required putting me under. I returned to my room and rested for a few hours and then found the bathroom heavily flooded. I went to the front desk to ask for help and no one was there. I waited and some guy told me to hold on, he'd go find someone. Eventually, a front desk guy named Melvin came out who was unproductive and oddly discourteous in a way that was unearned and about him. I told the problem and after some confusion he was able to contact engineering to come meet us at the front desk. While waiting, I asked him if he could see if there was availability for another room. He said ”No, I can't move you until engineering says the problem can't be fixed. Plus, we're pretty full.”I said ”yes but if you could just check if availability exists as I've just had a medical procedure and am exhausted,” a d held up my bandaged srm from where the IV just was hours ago. He then said no, rolled his eyes, and argued with me which was weird because I wasn't arguing with him. The Palmene the engineer arrived and asked my room number, 723, and he immediately told Melvin and me no one is supposed to be in that room as there is a roof leak which isn't his fault because the roof guys hadn't fixed it yet. I asked Mel in if he could now check if other rooms were available? He said no, ot until the engineer goes with me to the room. I asked ”why nit just give me a key now to a new room so I could directly pack, switch rooms and then return the key to the flooded room? Palmene the Engineer agreed and started explaining and literally mid-sentence Melvin started helping someone else who randomly walked up to ask a question about parking. I asked Melvin to please resolve one problem at a time and he refused. It was really sincerely weird; rude in such a misplaced way that it was farcical. So Palmene and I went to the room, he immediately knew where the roof leak in the bathroom was, repeated that the room should never have been occupied nor I put in it. He kindly ran to get me new room keys and a luggage dolly so I could pack to move. He returned with them and helped solve the problem and apologized for Melvin acting rudely and unconstructively. After packing and switching rooms I took the dolly down to the lobby and Melvin came up to tell me i could have just it in the hallway instead of nust saying thanks for returning it. This is a flooded room on a medical procedure day exasperated a really incompetent front desk guy with a poor attitude.
NNavy WI will NEVER stay at this location again. From the outside, this place looked it would be really nice. The lobby even gave the same sense. But once you go to check in, the mood quickly shifts. The front desk clerk (Who barely spoke English and had a very heavy accent) asked me to give her my drivers license and credit card. Now let me say that in itself is not unusual. However, apparently Wyndham has a new process to speed up the check in process. You go through this lengthy online process where you upload your ID and a credit card for (Incidentals). The idea behind the process is to speed up the check in. I went through the process the night before at a LaQuinta, it worked as it was supposed to. All the clerk had to do was give me my room keys. It did not work the same way at Marble Waters. As mentioned the clerk asked me again for my license and credit card, when I asked her why she said that she needed to make an actual charge of $50 for incidentals. Never have I ever been charge for incidentals until I had some incidentals. When i protested she said I would get the money back in 3 business days. So they took the money immediately, but I have to wait to get it back. Today 7/17/2024 is day three, the credit had better show up by tomorrow. That was the check in process...the rooms have old furniture that has been torn up an covered with cheap covers to hide the damage. Carpeting is old and warn. If this hotel comes up on your search for a place, PLEASE, keep looking!
MMichelleMcKendreeWe have traveled a lot in 50 years. This is, by far, the nastiest, filthiest, most sketchy and unsafe place we have ever stayed. Cracked, molded, broken tub, sink, toilet. I have never seen such disgusting carpeting. I didn't want my dog to walk across it. There were human hairs on the vanity, toilet tank and bedding. The lobby area is a constant entourage of characters, that were obviously not hotel guests. It stinks highly of mold, **** and crud. We paid $125 to NOT sleep an hour, because I was horrified of the filth and stench. I felt completely unsafe here. You are locked out of the lobby and must be buzzed in. However, noone asks for ID or key. Do yourself a favor and book anywhere BUT this place.
