Wonderful setting. Lovely room and bathroom, delicious breakfast, and a very charming hostess Jo. Would highly recommend.

This was our second visit and we were so happy to return, this time with our daughter. The room was lovely, the evening meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious and the setting even better than we remember. Our daughter asked if we could do all our holidays here in future 😊

We loved our stay at Weeke Barton. Sam and Jo have created a beautiful, relaxing set up that is nestled in the verdant, undulating Devon landscape. We stayed in the Kota room and enjoyed the views each morning and evening. Location-wise you’re in an ideal place to springboard to a number of local villages, the woods nearby, and the moor a little drive away, for plenty of adventures. As there’s an honesty bar you’re also able to kick back and relax in a number of relaxing rooms in the house at the end of the day. Sam & Jo provided us with such great tips for exploring the area and excellent dinner recommendations - ideal hosts. We stayed for two nights, and as is always a good sign, felt we could’ve stayed much longer.

Beautiful location and building. Wonderful hosts who are super helpful, friendly and welcoming. Stayed for a couple of nights and wish we had stayed longer. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast is top notch and evening meals are simple but delicious.

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with Weeke Barton. The hosts were superb. The house was beautiful with so much character. The bedroom (Avalon) was one of the best rooms we've stayed in. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, keeping the original features of the house, warm and comfortable. The bed was really lovely and we had a good night sleep. Breakfast was delicious and all the food is locally sourced. Our only disappoin**ent was that we weren't staying longer. We will be back.

Just back from a wonderful weekend at Weeke Barton. What a find! A beautiful longhouse in a peaceful setting, tastefully renovated with the owners own unique style. Jo and Sam were perfect hosts, you felt like you were staying with your coolest friends. Helpful but not intrusive, they have created the perfect environment to relax but also make the most of the local area with their personal recommendations. The communal spaces feel homely and are backed by a low-key eclectic playlist which adds to the a**osphere. We loved the dine-in option which is offered on specific nights; for other nights there are plenty of ideas of where else to go in the area. Sam told us about ‘Emilia’ restaurant in Ashburton which is a total gem and a highlight of our trip. Breakfast is included and loved the “text your order 10 mins before coming down” to the gorgeous dining room. Super yummy with different options. We’ll definitely be back (and have told all our friends!) Thanks again Xx

My family and I had a wonderful stay with Jo and Sam at Weeke Barton. Our room was lovely and cosy and the extra bed for our 5 yr old was perfect. The fires were always on and there were plenty of games to keep us entertained when we weren't out walking on the moor. Breakfast was delicious and the pies at dinner were just what we needed after a day exploring Dar**oor. It was the perfect post Chris**as / New Year rest that we needed and we can't wait to go back !

Weeke Barton is a beautiful getaway – the hosts are so friendly, the space so warm and the food so tasty. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a calm and cosy break, with fantastic walks and a beautiful coast nearby.

What a fabulous place. We had high expectations and we were not disappointed. Sam gave such a great welcome and tour and we immediately felt at home. The house is beautiful and stylishly decorated. The gardens are also beautiful. We stayed in kota which is in the garden infront of the house and it was perfect for us and our dogs. The projector screen was a bit of a challenge, but we got it working and enjoyed our own private cinema. Loved the room, the breakfast and the honesty bar in the house. There are great walks from the door and great pubs just a short drive away (if you want to leave the house). We would totally recommend staying here and look forward to going back
