Sahaja Sawah Resort is amazing. Would come back at any time. Stayed here for a month with a family and it was perfect :) The New Years Eve and The Christmas party was more than we expected. The concept of the resort is beautiful also the people who work here. Very family friendly. Quiet area and authentic little villages. Beautiful beach to go for a sunsets.

1. Dodge location- there is literally nothing but only ricefield around the resort 2. Horrible customer service - the worst and most unkind staff. A staff was shouting at me after she made a mistake and they will try to rip you off without enough explanation in advance. Also, they will ignore your messages of asking or requesting something. They do not go extra mile to satisfy guests. They say ‘you didn’t asked to do it and failed to explain what you wanted properly?’ 3. ****** and liar owner - she asks customers to follow Balinese culture and she intentially lies and overestimates about the resort service. She is not even fluent in English but not audible so it’s almost impossible to communicate with her ignorant attitude. 4. Construction noise: they went through a construction for one whole day, and it was not informed before booking. Even the compensation was paid. My one whole day at the resort was full of hammering sounds.

My departure left me with an unparalleled sense of sadness, as this place had seamlessly become a second home. The entire team, from the welcoming receptionists to the diligent housekeeping staff, the skilled spa professionals to the attentive gardeners and security personnel, each one demonstrated exceptional dedication. In the embrace of Sahaja Sawah, I discovered a piece of paradise on Earth. The warm, safe atmosphere they provided was beyond compare, and the genuine hospitality of the staff made me feel like a cherished guest throughout my 38-night stay. Every day was a masterpiece of perfection, with all my needs meticulously attended to. As a remote worker, I was provided with a comfortable workspace complete with a desk and chair. The reliable WiFi connection further enhanced my productivity. Beyond the professional amenities, the allure of the stunning pool area added another layer of beauty to the experience.

This place is located in the real bali.As a world traveller for the last 30 years I am always looking for special places around the world and Sahaja sawa resort is a hidden gem that I have been lucky to find.The room is an spacious luxury villa with an awesome private pool.The sound of birds wake you up gently in the morning and all you see around is rice fields and farmers doing their farming….The villages around the resort are state of the art ,very authentic a place to see life passing and absorve every detail. Also to mention that 2 minutes from the resort there is a fantastic temple built by villagers and sponsored by sahaja sawa fundation.literally we were alone visting the temple what was a life experience. Nature at is best the real Bali. Honestly speaking we leave tomorrow but we have decided that we are not going to look further wasting our time as tourist we will keep coming to Sahaja sawa resort our new home away from home. Real Bali is all you need.

I had a terrible experience at Sahaja Resort in Indonesia. Despite informing them before the check-in time of the need to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance, they did not provide any refund for my booking of 5 days for my family (6 people). They did not care at all of any circumstance. Even though I informed them that I won’t come anymore to Indonesia they provided a voucher that can be used under conditions. In one word, they are heartless. I wrote this review after a lot of interactions with them me because I want to make it accurate. While the location and facilities may be nice, I cannot recommend this resort due to the lack of proper customer service and flexibility with cancellations. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes necessary changes to improve their services.

Lovely place, tucked away location for getting the rest and relaxation you need. Fantastic food and massages, as well as pool villas, are provided by the wonderfully hospitable staff. Plus, staying here doesn’t just give you the chance for a time out; it also means that you’re supporting the local community. Your holiday will help to provide clean water, children’s education, and other essential needs.

Sahaja sawah is the best resort i’ve ever been at. The service is the best and they are so kind and caring and i can not stop thinking about the food it is amazing. highly recommend by Levi van Elmpt.

A truly wonderful week at Sahaja! We stayed in June for a week in Villa #2. Got a nice pick-up at the airport and arrived at the resort greeted by the staff and a fresh welcome drink! After we were greeted at the villa, and the feeling was amazing. So beautiful and nice decorated, spacious, high ceeling, with the kids in one room and us in the other. Both in and outdoor shower and tub. Sliding doors from sleeping room and 3 pcs from living room to garden/pool. Got breakfast delivered to the private pool table, and the views eating was stunning. Had a great scooter trip with the guide Gede who took us to some villages, beautiful countryside settings, rice fields and jungle. Kids loved it and this is a true calm place to relax and enjoy the friendly Balinese people. The food was amazing, and the menu well composed with a lot of varieties to enjoy different food the whole week. The spa is also a wonderful place to relax, with the river just a few meters below. The beach is just 5-7 minutes away on scooter, and hardly any traffic. Nice beach, though it was to much waves our week but almost empty. Also a nice gym at the site, and scooters and bikes. The whole week the staff gave all their attention to us and always with a smile, and the tranquility around the resort is just pure beauty. We will come back to this wonderful place. Really enjoyed our stay herw. So tranquil and relaxing place. Clean, well maintained and surrounded by paddy fields. The resort is only few minutes from the beach. Luv their services and the sunset view from their front gate was magical.
