We stayed in room 115, which is a roomy one bedroom suite with a very comfortable king bed, bath and walk-in shower. There is also a kitchen. The room is very close to reception and the lift to the free secure car park, and would be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The Sebel is on Hastings Street, so you're right in the middle of the action.
We have just come back from 2 nights here. We had apartment 12. It was super clean, up to date and very comfortable. From the moment we met Nick the manager at reception, he allowed us to park before check in and text us when apartment was ready. I have to admit after parking and walking up the stairwell I was thinking oh dear, this is not going to be good...BUT WOW, the huge gated balcony was a great surprise. The apartment was very modern, clean and comfortable. It was just me and my kids as hubby in lockdown, so a quick getaway was needed in school holidays. The location was fabulous, central to shops, beach and my much needed coffee shops. It was so clean and I loved the full fridge freezer, great with kids. The laundry in bathroom was so handy, even just for 2 nights as kids fell into the sea when taking sunset photos! Beds were comfy, tv had great options for all of us and we would definitely come and stay here again. Yes there is a building site opposite but hey, we were staying in a busy location so of course there are things happening at all times. It didn't bother us. We did not expect silence staying on Hasting St. Would rate 10/10
Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in July 2024 for 9 nights with my family. We paid for an upgraded superior room, which are advertised as 4 star on the signage. We did not have a superior room. We had the exact room advertised on the website currently, as the standard room on the website. I questioned this while there and was advised that isn’t possible as the standard rooms are 30 years old with nothing done to them. I explained my room is the same as the standard website room, my room is the one advertised it is exactly the same, the bedroom is the one I am in, not the superior rooms. I also told them my room was covered in black mould in all the curtains heavily. The cupboard was rotting in the kids room and the ensuite rusted. The location is magic, the kids loved the pool, having an apartment was great but is disappointing that they deceive customers paying for a superior room and they are not provided with what they book. Or reimbursed the difference when placed in a standard room. No room should have black mould on the curtains heavily, or stains on all beds, linen and lounge. Beware. Don’t pay the extra if you choose to stay here, it makes no difference, and be prepared for mould and dirty furnishings. I’ve provided feedback again to the resort with no response. They don’t care.
The location seemed to be ok, not too far from Hastings St or Noosa Junction in the opposite direction. Similarly the room ( ground floor in the Oasis enclave) was OK but pretty tired and quite dark. The room had access to the enclaves small pool so we never used the main one. It has a basic kitchen but limited crockery & cutlery even for 2 people so you wouldn't manage to prepare much more than a salad. The floor felt sandy but given the nature of the tiles its doubtful they could be properly cleaned. You have to empty your own bins which seemed unusual. At night the lighting was insufficient and areas are pitch black ( I had to go back for a torch having walked into a flower bed!). That should really be improved pretty quickly. Also reception has pretty short hours . When checking out on Sunday morning, reception was locked up, but we eventually found an unmarked safe outside where we left the keys. In summary, ok, but could be much better with some updating and basic service levels provided
Nomad Hostel in Noosa is an absolute gem! This place has all the vibes—clean, vibrant, and packed with good energy from the moment you step in. The location? Perfect. You’re smack in the middle of everything: the beach, bars, and best local spots just a short stroll away. It’s the kind of place where everyone’s having fun, whether they’re lounging, exploring, or kicking back with a beer in the common area.
The crew here keeps the space spotless, and you can tell they genuinely care about keeping things fresh and friendly. Nomad is not just a place to stay; it’s a place to connect, make friends, and soak up Noosa’s magic. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for good vibes, great people, and an unforgettable stay! 🌞🌊🌴”
