ホテル プント アズーロ(Hotel Punto Azzurro)

A couple of cons: The shower (too small, stiff door), no aircon in one room and the pillows were too soft for our taste; Pros: We were welcomed with a nice smile and there is a small pool. All in all, it's ok for a family stay.

This hotel is all about the view. Perched atop a cliff with a good clear view of the Med whilst sat on the terrace and the best bit is due to location (yes a little out of the way, 25-30 euro's in a taxi from Forio or St Angelo, verbal prices quoted and paid as meter price one day was 42 euros) the peace and quiet is amazing. There are other properties up on the next hill and occasional dogs barking, but most of the time it's very quiet. Walking to this property from Panza bus stop is not what we tried (the road is twisty and at times no more than a track but very hilly) especially in the current temperatures. Vito or Johnny are more than willing to drop you off to Panza, Poseidon or the main bus stop at various times throughout the day and also collect from there up to a certain time, very helpful and very very appreciated. The staff are very helpful and I can't give them enough credit for all they do to help you enjoy the stay. The hotel is starting to appear dated in some areas but nothing we found affected our stay. I found the bed a little firm, however all hotels seem to have differing ideas on what type of mattress used so no biggy there. There was no fridge in our room which was missed and I would hope they install them as an upgrade especially with the heat they seem to be getting more regularly, really missed being able to have a cold refreshing drink in the middle of the night. The breakfasts are a simple affair and I enjoyed the pastries and coffee. At the moment the greenery has grown to block the view from the breakfast area, which is a shame as it is a good selling point when eating breakfast to look out to a lovely blue sea. The pool although not very large is certainly adequate to cool off in should you have a lazy day at the hotel. However, having done this for two days we realised that it can be a very long day if you have not already stocked up with some food or drink to keep you going throughout the day. This hotel at time of our stay only did breakfasts and a paid aperitif around 18:30hrs if you asked on the terrace. We had a few of those and they were very well priced (beer, prosecco, crisps, dough twists olives and cut meats and cheese). Vito conjured up a bottle of wine, beers or prosecco whenever asked, much appreciated on a hot day. The hotel can arrange deliveries of meals from takeaway places to. We had a pizza delivery one night and it was very good. I was jealous of the wifes fritatina (apologies if spelt wrong), looked very good and must have tasted good as she didn't share. Big question is did it live up to expectations? I would have to say yes it did. Vito, Johnny and the rest of the staff are very customer friendly and have a lot of island knowledge to help you decide where to go or where to eat. We had some cracking meals based on their recommendations and the Portebello in Ischia Porto is also owned by the hotel owner and gives a good discount, helped by serving very nice food with a good marina view. This hotel has a certain rustic charm with beautiful views . It’s a little rough around the edges but it’s peaceful and charming Vito the owner who was lovely and took us to the beach & restaurants also happy to collect us at 10.30pm.. he brought us drinks round the pool and also organised food to be delivered at lunchtime . The breakfast was adequate and we really enjoyed our 4 night stay . Made better by having Vito taking care of anything we needed . Would love to go back the island is beautiful and punto azzuro was close to all amenities, but far enough away to be really peaceful great value for money

Abbiamo soggiornato al Punto Azzurro la prima metà di settembre. La camera era spaziosa e pulita con accesso diretto alla terrazza dalla quale si ha una vista mare spettacolare. Ottimo il wifi presente nell'intera area, piscina perfetta per rinfrescarsi prima di un aperitivo al tramonto sul blu.. La disponibilità di Vito (il responsabile) per consigli e ogni genere d'informazioni è stata un valore aggiunto al soggiorno che avremmo voluto non finisse così presto. Un consiglio: una volta giunti in loco, lasciate la macchina e muovetevi con gli scooters . Un caro saluto e ringraziamento anche a Gianni per la gentilezza. Anna e Simone da Firenze

Location stupenda, vista e tramonti indimenticabili. Grazie Vito e Gianni per la vostra disponibilità e per la simpatia. Continuate così. Se devo fare un unica critica la colazione può essere migliorata, ma spero sia una critica costruttiva per migliorare qualcosa che è già sopra la media. 👍😉 Posizione strategica e camere molto comode. Affacciarsi al tramonto e pasteggiare sulla terrazza con il rosso di sera non ha prezzo.

Hotel Punto Azzurro è il posto ideale per rilassarsi e godere di una splendida vista mare, nonché di un’ottima colazione. Vito e lo staff sono delle persone gentili e sempre disponibili, anche nel dare consigli su come girare al meglio l’isola. Siamo stati molto bene!

Se siete alla ricerca di relax siete nel posto giusto. Camera spaziosa, bella e pulita. Ampio spazio all'esterno, con terrazza panoramica con vista spettacolare. C'è anche una piccola piscina con dei lettini a bordo vasca. Colazioni ben fornite e vasta scelta. Servizio impeccabile, Vito e Gianni di una gentilezza e disponibilità unica. Incluso il servizio navetta, comodissimo considerando la posizione dell'hotel. Un vero piacere aver passato due giorni in questo hotel. Alla prossima!

Niente di straordinario, ma è pulito, la colazione era buona, non c'è l'accesso a mare vicino, ma se andate a Ischia la prima cosa è noleggiare uno scooter o altro, quindi 5 Min e sei comunque a mare. la vista è molto bella e se vi piace la tranquillità e non avete altre esigenze, è il posto giusto! Manca nei dettagli, ma rapporto qualità/ prezzo secondo me va bene. E poi il ragazzo alla reception moto gentile, ci ha dato un sacco di indicazioni anche su dove andare a mangiare. Lo consiglio
