Nice room looks as though it was recently updated. Good price for a small hotel in the historic district. In walking distance to the battlefield, museums, restaurants and bars. The Reliance is basically next door it is a bar you have to see! Only thing I would change is install a handicap grab bar in the shower.

Staff was very nice. Convenient location. Very run down. Needs serious updates. Clean enough.

Unfortunately it was filthy, even there are non smoking bedrooms it smells like cigarette everywhere. You can not advertice breakfast included when offer a cup of coffee and a muffin standing at the office. It Is a bad joke.

Room was what you would expect for the price. Smelled musty but overall was clean. Staff was pleasant when checking in and out. Hotel was near everything and I’d stay here again.

The hotel was right in the middle of town. It was ok not great. But for one night just to sleep it was fine. But there wasn't any water or soda machines on the property.

The Colton is a cheap clean hotel. No frills. Nothing special. But we stayed for 2 nights cheaper than one night anywhere else. The location is walking distance to the battlefield and any restaurant and bars you could want. We have used this hotel at least 10 times and will continue to do so from here on out

This us the first time I have ever given a negative review as it would be the worst motel ever. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would as it was so bad. The carpet was wet, dirty and smelly so the room had a terrible odor. The motel was full so there was nowhere for us to go. As I had to wash my blackened feet from the disgusting carpet several times, I then resorted to wearing shoes around the room. The toilet handle was broken and ran until you jiggled it. The window didn't close. The internet didn't work. When I complained to the staff, I was told in writing by the owner I would be reimbursed, but after several follow ups over several weeks, nothing happened. Do not stay here.

We had a wonderful time. It’s older and noting fancy but that’s ok. We’re only there to sleep. The beds are very comfortable. The only bad thing about it was the internet. It’s ok in some spots and nothing in other spots. They really need to boost the internet so all the rooms can get service. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
