ギリ カヤンガン ヴィラ(Gili Khayangan Villas)

Was our first time in Gili island. Was amazing experience. Hotel we booked was good choice but the road to the hotel it’s crazy…. I hope next time when we come will be much better.. the already started renovations around the island 🏝️. So far good hotel, clean with friendly staff 😉 Hotel staff Really helping if you traveling with kids ❤️

Terrible experience. Very dirty rooms and no privacy. We did not get what we reserved and no refund. Our booking was included with breakfast which dis not have a lot of choices, but after seeying the kitchen we took breakfast elsewhere. We stayed two night from our 6 night booking and left.

My wife and I scoured TripAdvisor for good recommendations for family-styled accommodation on the island and frankly, we were unable to find many options. Thankfully, we pick Gili Khayangan Villas. We are seasoned travelers and we value service with u**ost importance. As the reviews state, the service at Gili Khayangan was impeccable. Having 2 young children in tow for our post covid celebration trip to the island, made our trip a little complicated, but I dare say that the staff at Gili Khayangan made everything smooth and seamless. We were greeted at the jetty by Manager Yady. He arranged for us 2 Cidomos (horse carts) for transport and our bags. After a short but bumpy ride to Gili Khayangan, we were greeted with welcome drinks and cold face towels. The staff tended to the children first and carried them into the reception area and made sure they were comfortable. (oh, Jerry and Emily loved playing with Momo, the friendly resident cat). The 2 bedroom villa came with a private pool which my kids loved. Living area and rooms were clean and spacious. Great for kids to play safely. Daily breakfast was served into the private living area. Note that Gili Khayangan currently does not serve meals other than breakfast at this moment. Also, I wana highlight that we were pleasantly surprised that we liked the location of the villa. We were aware that many of the reviews commented that the villa was located far away from the jetty. However, we found it to be a huge plus. Simply because, my family had a very peaceful and undisturbed stay on the island. Gili Khayangan is situated away from the party areas of the island, BUT, very accessible to the sunrise and sunset beaches as they are right smack in the middle of Jln Kelapa (road connecting Sunrise and Sunset beaches on the island). Overall, I strongly recommend Gili Khayangan to all families travelling to the island and also travelers craving for peace and tranquility, away from the bustle of the sunrise and sunset beaches. Definitely will return to stay again. To the staff of Gili Khayangan, thank you for taking care of my family during my stay there.

Be Aware ! When you book your stay on gili , make sure you have 100% cancellation option , we got our ferry canceled due to bad weather, and then it was absolutely impossible to get another ticket to another boat ..all sold out and no flights available … this property refused to refund the cancel Penalty so think twice before you risk waste your money ….

We loved our stay at Gili Khayangan Villas! We enjoyed our private pool so so much! It was perfect as a family because our little girl could play as much as she wanted in it and we could look after her while lounging, eating, chilling in the living room... even relaxing in our bed! The breakfast are delicious. The AC works perfectly. The rooms are spotless and very spacious, with a lot of cupboards to put away our things. Great kitchen with a large fridge, microwave, kettle. The location is amazing because we were close to everything and still be far enough of the noisy parties at night. The staff is the best: very friendly and helpful. The best place to stay on Gili Trawangan for families!

We spend 3 night at Gili Trawangan with our family, it was fun and relaxing. The villa real nice and clean, pool and lounge are comfortable after exploring the island with a sunny island weather. Thanks to the staff that always take a good care with a good smile and really helpful for providing a bike. Will be back to this place!!
