アシエンダ ファニータ(Hacienda Juanita)

Great for birding! Fresh mountain air and beautiful surroundings. Only drawback is that they don't have mosquito screens on their windows so residents can enjoy the fresh mountain air. Instead, you are left with so much humidity inside. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

The property is located in the mountains of Maricao and is still a coffee hacienda. Is a great place to wander into nature. Well preserved. A spectacular place to stay during the coffee end of harvest festival or other tome of the year.

Nice quiet place, beautiful surroundings. We stay two nights and went visiting the adjacent towns. The staff was friendly specially Madeleine at the front desk.

The rooms are very clean and the mountains view are pretty. Need to improve the aesthetic of some areas, amplify the restaurant menu options and improve ingridients quality of the food that is served.

Used Hacienda Juanita as a base to explore Maricao and nearby towns. Property has beautiful trails, coffee groves and even two spectacular waterfalls. Highly recommended!

Everything was super clean and neet. The Bed an pillows are super confortable. Employees are nice and helpful.

A coffee plantation since 1834. Ideal to connect with a mountainous and secluded area. Away from the traditional busy life to a space of tranquility. You sacrifice some of the usual commodities, such as AC, for a pause in daily hurries. Nice pool, short walking trails with coffee farm, creeks and small waterfalls. Convenient cafeteria in premise and there coffee is top rated in the island.

Unique place with a lot of history. Staff was very accommodating. Enjoyed morning hike down to river and two small falls.

The stay was very good. The service of the employees was excellent. The fact that the rooms do not have air conditioning makes it a bit more uncomfortable when we live on a tropical island and temperatures sometimes reach over 100 degrees. It all depends on the time of year that you have the stay. I understand that the restaurant cannot be called that. Better to call it a cafeteria since they do not have a la carte food, only food that is already served early and without much variety. I clarify, the food and coffee are all very good.
