「The place is near the station and an ample number of totos are available.The location is very good and not congested at all. The size of the pool is indeed very big but the hotel management should clean it properly.The water colour turned green due to non maintenance and the bottom of the pool is not visible due to dirty water. The mache vat e bengali restaurant's food was good but a bit overpriced. The rooms were good and spacious and all amenities were present as was written on the website. The staff behaviour was very good and always eager to help. Overall an average stay which could have been better if hotel management had taken cleanliness policy by heart.」

「This was my fourth stay at hotel dc star and needless to say that when one stays at a particular hotel for the fourth time straight, it means the hotel is wonderful. The hotel staffs are friendly and very cooperative. The food is delicious and easy on the palette. The prices are right. Cleanliness is spot on. The location of thr hotel is excellent. You can go to tarapith, nalteswari or akalipur from here with ease. A must stay hotel if you want to visit the religious places.」

「The property appears maintained below par may be because of less flow of funds. The entry road is very narrow and shabby looking. The reception area needs lot of revamp, also the room decor seems so so but needs careful touch up specially with lighting gadgets, replacement of torn curtains and upholstery including holed cushion and intercom, widened gap between the door and the floor to be attended immediately, loitering of couple of stray dogs in the property gives negative impact on the guests. May be the pond in the center could be more attractive if decorated well with guests being allowed to do boating in it after conforming all safety protocols. Behavior of the property staff was very amicable, down to earth and much obliged. Names of shri chanchal, shri pint u mishra & shri ujjwal deserves a special mention. Food served at lunch n dinner were homely kind of and tasted well, besides being reasonably priced. However the complimentary breakfast offered at the property lacked very much in variety and did not host buffet. In a nutshell, our stay of 3 fly members, for 3 nights w. E. F. 11. 03. 2022 (saturday) at the property was within budget and pocket friendly.」

Stay of Ram Shyam Village Resort was very good. Rooms were neat and clean, food was tasty, ambience was good, location was very good, very nearby to Sonajhuri and very well connected to Bolpur and Prantik railway station」

Pros : Room rates are reasonable Have restaurant facility (Dine-in option both inside and outside restaurant) Peaceful location Have parking space Behaviour is good Cons : Rooms are very close to each other and not soundproof They called us everytime over phone for breakfast,lunch, dinner which is quite disturbing. Resort is far from main bolpur town, it's good for them who have own car.. Price of breakfast items are quite high.」
