「⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment. Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy. The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature. The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views. The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special. In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day. The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and clearly cared for, which added greatly to the overall experience.
 While the property is a bit more expensive than some alternatives, we found it to be well worth the cost. The quality of service, accommodations, and unique experiences provided excellent value.
 We are sorry that we couldn't get an elephant morning wake up call. I feel sad for the few people that complain and make life difficult for others and also for the elephants. I think the elephant enjoyed waking up humans. We were delighted to see a pair of Northern Thailand reindeer, which was an unexpected treat.
 We are already looking forward to returning and were genuinely sad to leave. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others seeking a unique and memorable stay.

「スタッフは素晴らしく、宿泊施設もとても清潔でした。寝具も快適で、ぐっすり眠ることができました。アメニティもすべて揃っていて、カフェもあります。朝食のサラダは美味しくて新鮮でした。コーヒーと紅茶は宿泊人数に関わらず料金に含まれています。メーカンポン村からそれほど遠くないという絶好のロケーションです。宿泊施設のすぐ前からメーカンポン行きのシャトルサービスがあります。金魚や鯉に餌をあげることができます。空気も新鮮で、家族連れに強くお勧めします。 ちょっとした注意点ですが、部屋とカフェ/受付エリアの間のスロープは、雨季や湿度の高い時期には滑りやすく、特に子供、大人、高齢者には注意が必要です。カフェのトイレの隣に喫煙所があるので、通り過ぎると臭いが気になるかもしれません。」

「ที่พักสวยบรรยายกาศดี แต่ถ้าเทียบราคากับความคุ้มค่าค่อนข้างแพงไป เครื่องดื่มอย่างน้ำเปล่าควรมีให้มากกว่านี้ ให้น้ำมาน้อยไป ถ้าขอเพิ่มต้องเสียเงิน แต่โดยรวมไม่แย่ แต่รู้สึกไม่คุ้มค่าถ้าเทียบกับราคาห้อง และความสะดวกสบาย เครื่องทำน้ำร้อนไม่อุ่นเพราะอากาศเย็นไปแต่น้ำไม่ร้อนเลย」

「The place is a bit far away from restaurants and other things, but they have bikes for rent. The service was great, they are very helpful. Cleanliness can be improved, but I understand it is in a forest setting. About a kilometer or so walking distance from Yi Peng festival venue.」
