Charming mountain retreat in the heart of Black Mountain! This spacious one-bedroom suite is perfect for couples or solo adventurers. Located just steps from the Downtown Historic District, you can easily walk to famous shops, restaurants, and breweries. Enjoy a fully-equipped space with fast Wi-Fi and a cozy atmosphere. This queen bedroom suite is on the main level of the building, located in the back of the house.Black Mountain Lodge has five units, each with a separate entrance. The door for Unit 2 is on the ground level located around the back of the building. The entry to this 659 sq ft space takes you to the kitchen, which is a generous size and includes a dining table. It is stocked with all the necessities you would expect for cooking and dining, as well as a drip coffee maker. The living room adjoins the kitchen, and has a large comfortable seating area to relax. There is a smart tv you can use to log into your streaming subscriptions, and complimentary wifi. The bedroom and bathroom are just next to the living room. There is 1 queen bed for sleeping up to 2 guests. We do not have a sleeper sofa. Due to fire zoning regulations we cannot allow cots or air mattresses on the floor. This home is over 100 years old and sits among large, old trees. Unfortunately due to this setting, insects will often make their way into the home. We welcome pets, and if you bring one please be considerate of other groups in the building. Please no dogs that bark if you are away. Dogs must be in a crate if left alone. Keep dogs on a leash at all times.This is a non smoking, non vaping property. No smoking or vaping allowed inside or outside. Please note that we do not have a front desk or concierge service. Staying with us will require some “self sufficiency”. You can self check in any time after 4pm and self check out any time before 10am on your day of departure. We are available during reasonable hours to address any questions or concerns, but please note that we are not a corporation and do not have 24 hour staff.
