「For a small town, this hotel is what you can expect. A little outdated but pretty clean. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The breakfast has limited options but the coffee was actually great. Would stay again.」
Check in was easy, staff was friendly.
Our room was clean but sparse. Very plain room with no toiletries except for soap and shampoo in pump bottles. I did find someone’s shower cap hanging from the bathroom door.
The bed was comfortable but didn’t sleep very well due to some machine noise outside.
We were disappointed that the breakfast was only until 9am. What hotel ends breakfast so early?
We don’t want to wake up early just to eat breakfast. Weirdest thing.
Overall, it was an okay stay. We were just passing through for the night.
If we pass through again, don’t think we’d stay again.
Do recommend Willy’s brewery and restaurant in downtown and Black Bear diner for breakfast.
Comfortable bed. A bit noisy roads nearby. Refrigerator and microwave nice to have, but Refrigerator leaked water onto floor and micro turntable didn't turn.
Very very loud AC/heat unit.Non smoking room, but had faint odor of stale cigarettes. Walls are thin, so can hear noise from other rooms and outside.it was nice to have shower gel and shampoo provided.
Overall decent if you don't want or need a very quiet environment.
Spotless, peaceful, and priced for value. The hotel sits at Redding’s quiet north end—an easy drive to shops and restaurants, but far enough away to feel like a retreat. The retro ‘time-capsule’ shower delivers hot water instantly and works perfectly, and the generous dresser space makes longer stays effortless. The only negative was the slow wifi. I had to use data for my conference call.
