We stayed at Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa from June 2-4, 2024, and it was one of the best properties we have ever visited. Nestled in the mountains and surrounded by lush greenery, the resort offers a serene and beautiful environment. The breakfast and high tea were delicious, adding to our wonderful experience. We celebrated our daughter's birthday at the resort, and Chef Nandira and support staff Pramila did an excellent job arranging everything and making the occasion special for our daughter. The resort boasts one of the biggest playrooms for kids, spread over two floors, with a merry-go-round and a gaming zone. Our daughter had a fantastic time there. We would like to extend our special thanks to Durga from the front team for ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The staff's friendliness and efficiency made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa for a memorable family stay.

Top notch hospitality! This is what is called "great service" . Even though the breakfast was a mess on the day we were checking out (lots of checkins at breakfast time and it looked like they were coming for breakfast during the same) so no tables and things on order took a long time to reach us, but nontheless it was a great stay! Hi-Tea was such a delightful time, they has unlimited snacks and hot beverages for everyone. 10/10 for baby food, 10/10 for the grill pizza place and 10/10 for the beautiful property and rooms. Pool has a superb view and so did the balcony of all cottages being surrounded by lush greenery. All in all, Marriott should be the first choice when visiting Coorg.

Stayed 3 nights/4 days and frankly its a mixed bag. Location: remote (will take ages to get to, through winding roads) but is lovely (surrounded by jungle/coffee plantation).Great campus for walks and the morning plantation walk was fun but brief Crowd: It is seems designed to be kid-friendly and pet-friendly which means anyone without either will find it less than peaceful in common parts (restaurant, for example) Staff: Front/Reception desk - tend to cluster around one customer (there are 3 desks) and leave the other two unattended - observed/experienced on more than one occasion. Need training to make them more welcoming/attentive Restaurant - chaotic in general and you have to ask/order the same thing more than once and chase (experienced over 7 meals in 4 days) Food & drink - vast choice but frankly quality/taste pretty average at best; JW Marriott & Courtyard Hebbal (both in Bangalore) have some seriously awesome and consistent food Checkout - bit of a mess where I only got 3 nights added to my account despite booking two rooms (therefore 6 nights in total). This is despite reminding staff at reception that both rooms were booked by me via the Bonvoy app and in my name, As a Marriott BonVoy Platnium member(therefore spending considerable time at Marriott hotels around the world), I think staff and food quality is 5/10 at best

Stayed at this beautiful property for 3Nights and one of the best in Coorg. Hospitality is at top notch, very luxurious with modern amenities. Cottages are amidst the beautiful greenary, staff is very polite and courteous. Rooms are huge and spacious . Breakfast and dinner had a vast spread of dishes and deserts are not to be missed. Bakery sections is the highlight of the breakfast and dinner buffet. Waffles were made to order and very crispy, light and had various toppings. We even had maggie live counter during dinner buffet ***** with Pizza and Pasta live counters. The highlight is Hi Tea which is served in an open area overlooking the greenary, scrumptious snacks like kachori, cutlet, sandwich , ghugni chat, bread pakoda and pastries ***** with masala chai/coffee/hot chocolate/juice is served . They have various activities like Housie gaming arcade, story telling sessions, coco lab experience to keep us occupied. We never felt like stepping out of the resort for 72 hours. Pool was freezing cold as it is outdoor and we couldnt enjoy the pool much. Special mention to the Guest Relation team Anushka for her hospitality and thoroughly checking with us if we needed anything each time she met us. She was there even at the checkout to click departure pics , Anjali who welcomed us with a beautiful smile was very Courteous and polite. Poornima - the photographer was patient enough to wait for us to get ready for the photoshoot and happily clicked our pics :) We enjoyed the morning plantation walk led by Lithin who is extremely knowledgeable and kept the crowd active by explaining various things around the plantation. Yesudas also did a wonderful job in keeping the kids and adults engaged during the story telling sessions. Buggy drivers are very helpful and never hesitate to take us around the property or pick and drop us to the main lobby area. Will definitely recommend this property to my friends.

We stayed for 3N4D and it was a great experience overall. The onboarding process was quite smooth by Front Office staff Tina. The cottage was very spacious, well maintained and clean. Madikeri Kitchen offered great choices of food for every food lover; great spread. Special mention to the Restaurant staffs who went above and beyond to make every meal very special and enjoyable - Restaurant Mgr Surya, Manoj, Chef Alaguraja, Chef Nandira and Chef Andrew! Thank you guys. HK staffs were very good and efficient. Special mention to Rophica and Vaishak. Keep up the good work guys. Our kids had fun at the pool. Request the poolside staff to clean the water regularly. We felt that the water quality was below standards. It wasn't clean and infested with insects. Kids Activity area needs to be managed better with error-free gaming machines and more hospitable staff. Location of the property is great and we enjoyed our morning stroll through the resort. We were lucky to get few mild showers during our stay too :-) Highly recommended for nature loving guests.

Place is beautiful, quiet & best to unwind. Good food, efficient staff. Mornings are melodious with bird calls & one can just walk at sunrise. The paths are all lit in evening by solar lights- dim & unobstrusive. Each room is private, the sit out in the balcony is not under public gaze- the design & layout of the rooms is superb. It’s the place to go if you like quiet & nature.

Stayed and travelled brilliantly at Coorg Marriott.Let me start with a word called Intriguing I really enjoyed stayed with my family freinds and the the credit goes to the wonderful team and great team work.Let me start from Front lead the smiling team at that pre arrival call from Chandana , leaded by Rakshit , Ajeiya , Pavan , Rilut ,Durga always welcoming and smiling and does all the requests with a beautiful smile . Culinary at the hotel is at the best from breakfast to hightea to Dinner . Chef Ranjit is at it best with food and beverage team feed you like home starting from a wonderful hostess like Pramlia , Donasita , marben and the staff Mark ,Murgesh , Ajityh , Nithin , Avinash . You must visit live counter at for wonderfull South Indian delicacies . Room was immaculate kept by Diana and the team . We met a great host Ayush saraf who always assisted with all orders . They have great spa with lots of choices Rachel was superhelpful . Must ensure you do a Nature work a recommended one by myself and was done Vinod and he has great recreational facilities. They have kids areas as well and i can go gaaga on that . We had a great time at the property. Thank you all for making over travel brilliant and memorable ☺️

Coorg is amongst the newest destinations for a Marriott Bonvoy property in India, and was therefore an auto choice for us when we were planning our road trip through the coffee plantations of South India. The drive in from Chikmagalur and Somwarpet is a visual treat and a must do. The Marriott is located just off the road from Somwarpet and that meant an easy entry without having to pass through the city. The drive off the highway navigated through the plantations, and the resort was beautifully nestled within, with hills and greenery all around. We were welcomed with a traditional shawl and drink and were quickly helped onto the large Plantation Villa . The villa was large and very tastefully done, and had all of the luxuries that one could ask for. The food at both Madikeri Kitchen and Grills by the Valley was consistently good - do try and spend the evening at Grills by the Valley. They have a story telling session as well there, which you can combine later wuth dinner. The service was phenomenal all across - be it the room service, the restaurant, the play area or even for that matter, the gym or the buggy drivers. The kids game centre is a lot of fun, for the kids as well as the adults. The play area had pretty much everything that one could ask for - chess, table tennis, snooker, et al. The team at Coorg is the best. The live songs and games during high tea were fab as well, and the highlight really was the team singing joyfully together during Christmas. The resort is large, and while buggies are available, it is advisable to just walk around and relax on the comfortable cocoons that are around the property, or even the beautiful tents around the pool. Another thing that you should not miss are the fantastic sunsets - they are simply splendid. There are a lot of beautiful birds as well around the property. This is easily amongst the best Marriott resorts in India, and we certainly would like to come back soon to unwind, relax and spend some qualtiy time . Thanks, team Marriott.
