Great location just close to the ocean and town center. Nice seaview from the restaurant. Good quality of service and great heated indoor swimming pool.

We had a fabulous stay. We were visiting over my son’s birthday and the staff dropped off a small cake and bottle of sparkling wine during turn down service! The room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and sites of Ponta Delgada, which is centrally located to the sites of the island. It is a wonderful option!

Our room had a few issues, the floor wasn’t that nice. In the bathroom there were some old marks/holes on the water tap switch. And water kept spilling onto the floor from the water tap leaking. Air-condition and minibar didn’t work either. Room had a decent size and an ok balcony, fast internet, broad selection of tv channels (lots of football channels). Nice welcome snacks/drink. Hotel breakfast was good. Housekeeping was ok, although missing small stuff like we didn’t get wash cloths every day. On our last night at the hotel (which was a really sunny/hot day) I called the front desk asking about the minibar..we wanted some cold drinks. And suggested maybe since it was not working that we could get some ice cubes. That will be 7 euros. I explain again that the minibar is not working..but still cost. So instead they sent 3 persons over one hour to fix that minibar…taking up precious holiday time for us. And end result no real cold drinks or happy guests. But at least the air-condition worked the last night. They hand out extra towel cards at check in (if u want to borrow towels for the hot springs), but if you lose your card, it will cost you 150 euro! Amazing price. Was an ok stay overall though..but one would expect a bit more from a 5-star hotel. Maybe next-door hotel Marina Atlantico is a better option (from hearing from someone who stayed there). Side remark: We have free room upgrade (gold rewards) - but still not an option in a hotel that seemed not half full.

Liked the balcony and view of the sunset with our room. Selection of pillows and soft sheets. Afternoon high tea is fabulous! Staff are so attentive and pleasant. Beautiful decor. Great buffet breakfast.

It was a nice hotel well located. Breakfast buffet was good. No significant changes in the 4 nights we were there.

Great location Great breakfast Friendly staff Great bar Would definitely stay here again!! They can also arrange either private or shared island tours. We did Green Tours full day tour with pick up/drop off at the hotel and we loved it!!
