we appreciatet the place, its historical very interesting, and since I read "Transcription" it was my wish to go there. We were possitivly surprised by the spacious rooms, the tidyness, the friendliness of the staff. The Apartments are in a good location to reach the Tate Britain on foot, or just 2 tubstations to Greenpark. The Swimmingpool is a good surprise aswell, really big for a hotelpool, it was quiet easy to get an appointment for it. Well after all we could recommend this location and would love to return! But we would book without breakfast and choose a nice cafe nearby. Since we had a secretescape booking, breakfast was included. We read the ratings and didn`t expect very much. On the first morning there was a nice italien girl, we took an croissant an orangejuice and a papercup of tea to our room since there were no tables. The next day we arrived at nine a clock ( we had to check out to get the plane) There was a tray of nice croissants, just as we wanted to order, the boy with a big earring was closing, took the tray and told us he would be back in 5 minutes. When he came back after 15 minutes he was quiet stressed, made us some coffee, and told us that the only croissants (filled with ham and cheese) that were left were not included. He gave us each one very small pasty, and this was the first time in my over 40 years London experance we left the town hungry and therefore in a bad mood. We know it was not the fault of the boy, but......
