From arrival until departure everything was just great. The setting of this hotel is absolutely beautiful, service at reception was friendly and professional, the rooms well appointed and clean, service at the bar was exceptional and the food! complements to the chef/s is definitely deserved here. The presentation, the taste and the service absolutely fantastic. Well done Malabou Beach hotel we had a fantastic weekend.

Highly recommended. Given the remoteness of the location this hotel exceeded all expectations. We were worried about previous reviews commenting on limited restaurant menu options. But we found the menu broad enough for our needs. Lots of local and fresh options plus a ‘snack’ menu of burgers, fries etc available from 10am onwards. We only spent one night here but would love to come back and explore more of this corner of New Caledonia. Plage Blanche was a highlight along with the friendly and attentive staff. They spoke little English but made do with our broken French, always smiling and happy to help. Rooms were great. Nice and clean with a stunning outlook. Don’t miss this part of New Caledonia if you can get up this way!

We had a great overnight stay at the Malabou – loved the setting! We had a beautiful beachfront bungalow just meters from the beach. This place is a little out of the way, but worth the trip up to the north part of the island. There’s not much around the area, but the drive up there was really beautiful. The room was very modern and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The room had a fridge and a TV and the Wifi connection was quite good. The setting for the resort is really beautiful, fronting on a white sand beach with some mangroves at either end. Parts of the beach were quite unattractive being covered with debris and sea**** but most of it was real nice. The restaurant was reasonably good, but nothing extraordinary. Definitely recommended to travelers passing through the north end of the island, a beautiful spot to spend a day or two.

Bungalow impeccable c est refait avec goût belle situation géographique dommage arrêté municipal interdiction de se baigner des requins ont été aperçu dans la baie, le bungalow était prêt mais pas question de nous donner la clé avant 14h il était 13h15 la réceptionniste voulait nous faire payer 3500 f pour 45 mn avant c est de l abus

De passage pour visiter les pays, nous y avons dormi 2 nuits tellement le coin est sublime, l'accueil parfait. Bungalow bien agencé m, literie tout simplement parfaite. Le restaurant propose 4 plats le soir, ce qui est parfait et très bon. Nous recommandons

Buffet à 7990 francs avec très peu de choix (salade de posson,salade de poulpes,crudités ,mini pizzas,poisson...) et le lendemain le brunch (3990 xpf) qui était servi n'était rien d'autre que les restes du Buffet de la veille avec juste du pain et des venoiseries en plus ....

Bon séjour. Le bungalow était propre et agréable, vue mer. Nous avons eu la surprise de voir les chevaux sauvages passés au milieu des bungalow le premier matin ! Le personnel a été très agréable. Piscine appréciable. Repas correct au restaurant. Bon point de chute pour découvrir le nord de l'île.

Bungalows rénovés, bien. Par contre un gros bémol pour le bar, la restauration et la piscine. Bar, bière périmée, sans bille et chaude. Restauration, peu de choix et frites arrivées froides et rasoirs. Un gros effort est à prévoir sur la qualité. Prix ne justifie pas la prestation. Piscine sale et jacuzzi (apparemment bassin enfant) non entretenu. Je ne conseille pas cet établissement

Accueil très chaleureux, un personnel avec le sourire et qui est très réactif aux demandes. Un hôtel très beau et très propre. Pour finir, un restaurant excellent avec vue sur la mer et qui propose des plats avec des produits locaux ! Je conseille vivement de venir ici si vous passez à Poum.
