On arrival at Riad Shama, we welcomed the calmness inside in comparison to the hustle and bustle of the streets outside. We were welcomed warmly by Akram and given a tour of the Riad and a welcome glass of mint tea . The hospitality of the staff continued throughout our 6 day stay. Akram and Abdul were always courteous and helpful, providing information on places to visit and helping to book trips for us.and airport transfers The Riad lady manager was also very helpful. We had our first Hammam spa experience and that was amazing! The staff were excellent!👌 Our room was a deluxe double but our only quibble was the steep stairwell to the bathroom although it looked grand it was very dangerous especially trying to negotiate in middle of the night! The housekeeping for our room was hit and miss and the day before we were heading home was the only time our bedding was changed and bathroom cleaned which we found unusual. This did not affect our stay but would recommend a bed change and thorough bathroom clean halfway through our stay. The pool was too cold for a swim in February which was disappointing for me because I enjoy swimming but obviously more suitable in summer months. We enjoyed our breakfast on the top terrace each morning and the views of the city. Overall we both loved our first visit to Riad Shama and Marrakesh.❤️

If you arrive at the Road with an open mind, you will have a lovely stay. Yes it is slightly off the main road, but we never felt unsafe as two women travelling together. The staff cannot do enough for you and the free breakfast is lovely. The Riad is very traditional which means it does come with certain charms that you wouldn’t get in a normal hotel.

I have just returned from riad Shama with my sister and brother, we spent 4 nights here and it was amazing from start to finish. The service from all the staff was exceptional, the rooms were clean and beautiful, my sister and I were at the back of the riad above the spa so it smelt amazing. The pool is cold but very much appreciated with the heat from sunbathing on the terrace. Each evening we made our back to the riad for a bottle of wine and mint tea the perfect end to each day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Thank you so much to Ayouub and Mussafah

Don‘t know where to start … the poolpump is not working, so the Pool can‘t be used! Every second light in the room is not working , so you can‘t see much - makeup impossible! The toilett is loose , so of you sit down, you think you will fall with it … the drainage is not working - water in the sink stands for 20minutes … the cupboard too small for 2 people- just 4 hangers!!! It needs a total makeover and a total renovation!!! It is all crab and rotten !

I can not recommend this Riad highly enough. Upon arrival we welcomed so warmly. The Riad is a hidden paradise that is like been transported to a calm tranquility from the busy warm streets outside. All staff are truly amazing and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a wonderful experience. Ayoyb is such a lovely man and went out of his way to accommodate any needs. From cleanliness to hospitality I can’t recommend higher. The pool is beautiful and room design is so well thought out. I will definitely return. If you are thinking of staying here don’t give a second thought. You won’t regret it.

I refused to stay at this Riad because the manager (ie, Marwan) has been extremely rude, irresponsive and disrespectful throughout my phone conversations with him prior to my visit. I never got my refund though. Use caution!!!

We had an amazing stay in this riad! The hospitality was great and the employees were very kind. Especially Mustafa who served us most of the time was very kind and helped us with everything whe needed. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Marrakech.

Ce Riad est très paisible quand on est à l intérieure, un service au petit soin, le personnel très agréable et proche de leurs touristes, Wafa, Akram, Abder, et surtout aussi le chauffeur taxi Ismaël au top et très aidant et nous les remercions pour tout cela. Par contre a l extérieur la faune rôde et surtout a la tombée de la nuit, ne pas circuler à pied dans cette zone, je me suis faites agressée et arracher mon sac en bandoulière physiquement, ce fut très traumatisant, donc voler tous nos papiers, 5 jours de galère car le consulat de France est fermé le week end il faut le savoir …. Nous avions hâte de rentrer au final ça nous a gâché les vacances C est vraiment dommage car le Riad était très sympa !!!!!

Riad très mignon avec une magnifique vraie piscine et un personnel tellement gentil et bienveillant. La nourriture est excellente (le petit déjeuner est incroyable en particulier le miel).
