Stayed for an overnight trip with my parents at Buffalo Rock - a true luxury bush experience ! The service was excellent, food great. Other reviews mentioned the cons being the train is noisy and the tents are close together - neither was an issue for us as we felt it added to the experience. The game Rangers knowledge during the game drive was phenomenal.

We were welcomed by friendly receptionist. The room was perfect, hot water, clean shower and toilet, comfortable bed, breakfast 110% and super was over everything. I will definitely revisit. The pool very clean, in overall it was relaxing and refreshing

Very nice stay Food was delicious and the view and the pool were awesome too Staff was very kind and helpful. We stayed in a tent with a nice bed and plenty of space We went on two safaris in the morning with helpful and knowledgeable guides and got to see loads of animals

The Safari was great. Saw lots of animals and loved them all. Our driver was very good - informative and good natured. He was awesome, very good driver who took us over difficult terrain safely. His name is Sunny.Boy. The food could use.some improvement. Bacon should be crispy. Breakfast and coffee were very good. Bona food not so good mostly fat on the pork chops and too much mayonnaise on salads, too much garlic on bread, too many people, too dark. The tent cabins were very comfortable. The staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful, especially the gift shop and the front desk. Also, the bartenders were very friendly as well. Really enjoyed my stay.

I stayed here recently for 1 night. The room was a good size. Avoid the dangerously slippery shower. The path from reception to the rooms was poorly paved, and it could be quite a long walk. There's a very good buffet breakfast and dinner. Staff are friendly but it's a pain to tip porters because the hotel is cashless.

Really great accommodation and staff, felt well looked after from beginning to end. Tented rooms are very basic but functional with aircon but no hair dryer in room (can rent from reception). Food was very tasty and lots of variety. Swimming pool great but did get busy after 1600 when everyone is back from safari. Would recommend spa, very good value for money and amazing treatments. Wine at the bar is all local and very good. Tents aren’t sound proof so you can hear outside noise well so if you’re a light sleeper I would recommend earplugs. We stayed mid Feb and there were very few mosquitoes and bugs around. Safari drives are amazing but due to open air vehicles you will need layers as the wind means you are cold in the morning. Reception staff were very friendly and can help with queries and booking onto safari drives and experiences
