La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach - N Kings Hwy

It was adequate for the price paid. When we arrived we were first sent to a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. Other than that it was okay. It does have the feeling of an efficiency lodging with lots of rooms in an older concrete type building.

I’m not sure the linen on the bed was changed. There was an empty pillowcase under the blanket and hair on the pillows. I didn’t particularly care for the smell in the room either. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean.

beds were comfortable, shower had good pressure and hot water was quickly available for hot showers. Breakfast provided by hotel was good. Didn't like that soap for shower was not provided. Coffee station was not available except during breakfast time. when we booked it said the coffee station was always available.

Liked the price. Bathroom required cleaning. Toilet was dirty. Coffee maker was missing a part so unable to make coffee.

Check in was fast and smooth. The young lady that checked me in on Saturday night was so professional, accommodating and kind. Room was beautiful. Only thing is the bathtub didn't have a stopper. When the engineering staff came to check it out, he used profanity which I felt was inappropriate to say in front of a guest. Maybe it's just me. Even though he was unable to find a stopper that was an exact fit for the tub, he was very very nice and really tried to help me and I appreciated that. Ultimately I wouldn't mind staying at this property again.

Room was remodeled and clean. Very nice. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was a bit below average. Outside of property a bit dirty.

It was okay for overnight. They need to upgrade their bedding When I went to close the bathroom door the handle came off in my hand. PLUS THEY CHANGED ME FOR PARKING If it wasn’t 9 o’clock at night I would have went to another hotel. Just the principle I’ve never been charged for parking at a hotel in my life.

Hotel and room were clean. Check in was friendly and nice. Was not happy got charged $5 a day parking for staying in a hotel I’m already paying for. Sheets were awful. Felt like sleeping in paper. Bed was just uncomfortable.

The property is in a good location for my work. A lot of Construction Workers seem to use this hotel likely due to the low price. The appearance is not bad. elavators are old a noisy. Breakfast is NOT good - just bypass it. Bedding needs updating ... overly soft and sagging.
