As good as any other Travelodge I’ve stayed in. Clean, quiet, no complaints there. Hard to find in the dark as it’s not well signposted though. Trucks had helpfully parked across all the main hotel car bays. Consequently the overflow car park was full and we had to park in the main services car park. Good enough for a stopover though.
Had a lovely 3 night stay at this lovely inn, would have had four but was fully booked! Was my belated birthday present, though dad said it was for mummy’s birthday! Very welcoming team with a lovely room decorated in a tasteful contemporary style and large en-suite. View over the village pond just added to the quintessential country location. I was even given my own special doggy beer and biscuit. Team couldn’t do enough to help and were very attentive to my every whim, including a sausage for breakfast. Breakfast lovely, albeit mum and dad didn’t go for the larger breakfast given the meals the night before were so large (and of equally high standard). Though at first glance the prices could be seen of the expensive side, I will certainly say it represented good value for money. I’m already pestering mum and dad to take us back!

CConnieWe have been to this hotel before, but this time we saw a sign saying that swimming will incur £5 pp charge. I was gutted that I was not advised, as the receptionist said this new policy took place 2 weeks ago. BUT, when we went to the pool, the clerk told us that if you booked from a different provider (trip.com etc) you have a complimentary pass to the pool. If only we knew the first day. But really happy overall.
