We got a remodeled room and loved it. Super cute. The staff is great. Check in was lovely. We had a very noisy family above us that did not stop until after 10pm and started up again at 7am. The soundproofing needs to be better and need carpet in 2nd floor rooms. The internet also was out for a couple hours. All that being said, the hot breakfast made up for it!

We have no complaints. The extra old towel that can be used for dirty jobs and taken with is a nice touch, especially when the regular towels are nice and white. What a great way to reuse/recycle the old to save the new towels. There was a place we could park the camper separate from the vehicle, which was nice. That allowed us to explore the town and pick up some supplies without having to tow the camper around town. Everything was clean, comfortable, and presentable. Staff was courteous.

KCI is an older motel, comfortable, not flashy. It was clean which is my first requirement. I would definitely recommend staying there (and take time to go to the Frick Fossil Museum which is SO much more) KCI has real keys! (with little flashlites attached) I loved those. Unfortunately the doorknob to room 242 did not like either of its keys. It was nearly impossible to open even for the young man at the desk who came to help me. He offered me a different room but I don't like to bother. Hopefully KCI will read this review and replace the doorknob to room 242.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Kansas Country Inn. We needed to stay at Colby for the states high school basketball finals. Due to procrastination on my part, all the acceptable rooms were gone in Colby. I stumbled upon this Inn. The price was good and it just looked interesting. I am so glad I took a chance. Such a cute, homey room. Beds were excellent, everything was clean and I loved the antique furnishings. We will definitely be back if and when we get that way again♥️

Older roadside hotel in fair condition. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bedsheets were clean but the fitted sheet was extremely worn out. Tub faucet dripping too. Room amenities were older but functional. Standard hotel breakfast food was good.

I loved my stay. The breakfast was plentiful, with homemade biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls and egg dishes, asking other things. It was a nice, quiet room. I liked hearing the cows across the street in the morning. It reminded me I was, in fact, in Kansas again.

Great place to stop traveling western Kansas. Decorated so cute and cozy and everything is very clean. Staff was very friendly and good options for breakfast. Will stay again.

Don’t be discouraged by the remoteness of this motel. It is a loving updated family owned facility. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room impeccably clean and the breakfast area warm and charmingly decorated, as well as being abundantly stocked with everything that one could desire for a satisfying breakfast including home baked coffeecake!

Rates were reasonable, our bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, free breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.

Easy to find, friendly staff, really great breakfast, warm apple crisp, waffles, biscuits & gravy. Thought the room could have a little better lighting, but it was clean and well maintained.

Not many retail shops nearby. Mostly have to drive to Colby for stuff.
