Peterborough (Ferry Meadows)

The hotel was in a nice quiet location next to the Golf course. The room we were given had a nice view over the course. Bedroom was clean and the Bathroom clean. Need a shower mat as standard in the shower as very slippery.A fan was provided as the rooms have no air con. No lift could be an issue for some people. The girl on Reception was helpful and pleasant. We ate in the Beefeater restaurant next door.Decor was tired and the food average and dry; overpriced £3.50 for a Lemonade.No downstairs toilets in Reception if needed. Otherwise a lovely Garden Centre next door very reasonable

All good friendly staff even the cleaners had a chat about the rooms and what numbers to ask for if there was a next time.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, the rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was lovely. The location is great with plenty around to do and a beautiful lake with lots of water sports, some pitch and putt golf, a garden centre and more. would 100% recommend

We stayed here due to the location being close to an event we were attending and was pleasantly surprised by the great price! Expecting to arrive early, we called and requested early check in which, was confirmed effortlessly. Upon arriving, the car park was large with plenty of availability and both our rooms were ready. Warren at reception checked us in with the perfect warm, friendly and attentiveness you expect in hospitality. The Beefeater next door was very busy but he managed to book us a table for within 15 mins which, was ideal as we needed to head out shortly. Considering it was busy, dinner was quick and delicious. The waitress was welcoming and we didn't need to wait for anything. We visit our local Beefeater regularly so, it was great to see the same standard in a different location. The room was clean, spacious and had all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. During check out we were welcomed by another friendly team member who asked if we had enjoyed our stay. If we visit the area again, we would definitely return!

The friendliest staff thanks Warren Ellie and Dawn for making our stay a very pleasant experience, comfy bed , clean and tidy room and the hotel is well situated for all the amenities that Peterborough has to offer, this certainly was a room with a view.

Stayed one night in order to play golf at Luffenham. Excellent night's sleep, friendly staff, all as it should be. Food at the beefeater was below par however.

Lovely and accommodating staff. The rooms were fab and a lovely location. It was great for a short and restful break away
