ゲゲストPutoshan is well off the foreigner travel path and information in English is limited. That the nearest train station is a few hours away in Ningbo only makes it more complicated. That’s why I was happy to find this homestay/hotel with its helpful English speaking owner “良筑”. I called and he added me on WeChat to give me advice and drop me pins (hint:the “south” bus station in Ningbo is adjacent to the train station, next to the taxi queue). He explained where the four main sightseeing spots on the island were and gave me advice about how to tackle them in a day. As for the hotel itself, perfectly fine: clean and comfortable and affordable. Only disadvantage is it’s about a 10-15 minute drive to the ferry building, about an hour walk. But it’s easy to catch taxis to the hotel and then 良筑 will drive you back to town (about 20 rmb each way). Also, immediately across the street is an enormous new Buddhist temple with a really beautiful interior that I would have missed seeing if I hadn’t stayed at this hotel. It needs at least an hour. The nearby town is small but has many seafood restaurants. All in all, if you’re a foreigner with limited Chinese ability hoping to visit Putoshan, then this is probably the right hotel for you as 良筑 will help you to plan and organize your visit. Plan to arrive by midday and stay for two nights. You can see it all in that time.

What truly set Yicheng apart was the exceptional hospitality. The owner's dedication to ensuring a perfect stay was evident in every interaction. They were always readily available, radiating warmth and friendliness, and proactively offering assistance. It felt less like a hotel stay and more like being welcomed into a cherished friend's home.
The suite itself was a masterclass in modern comfort and thoughtful design. Every detail, from the sleek furnishings to the state-of-the-art amenities, was carefully curated to enhance the guest experience. The room was not only beautiful but also incredibly functional, providing all the conveniences one could desire.

1.12月1日從杭州出發，中午到的酒店，酒店接待人員已經提前安排了乾淨的房間，讓我們能休息緩解旅途的疲憊。酒店還贈送了香囊、手串等紀念品。
2.酒店的風景非常好，從露台就可以看見南海觀音。樓下就是沙灘，能欣賞海上日出和日落，能觀看海天佛國的壯麗景色。晚上，低吟的海浪聲就像喃喃的佛音。
3.酒店一樓就是舟山有名的原制原味餐廳，住店期間，我們就是在這裏享受美食的。
4.酒店的地理位置非常好，南海觀音、紫竹林、碼頭都可以步行到達。
5.非常感謝酒店前台和門廳的服務人員，我們來回酒店都是一個電話，酒店就來回碼頭接送。返程的時候，我們一個電話，酒店前台小錢就安排師傅將我們的行李送到了碼頭。晚上，我們不會操作電視，酒店工作人員立刻提供了周到的服務。

普陀を訪れる際は、いつも天峰ビルに宿泊しています。交通の便も良く、市内中心部、空港、半勝洞埠頭から無料シャトルバスが出ています。ホテルは沈家門ビーチまで徒歩10分以内、金宝レストランもすぐ近く、海沿いのシーフードレストランも徒歩圏内です。8月5日から漁期が解禁され、新鮮なワタリガニが豊富に獲れます。通りの向かいにはスーパーマーケットがあり、中華朝食はボリュームたっぷりで作りたてです。
いつも親切に教えてくれ、たくさんの素敵な提案をしてくれる、まさに地元っ子の夏マネージャーには感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
劉マネージャーは献身的で責任感があり、細やかな気配りをしてくれます。
次回もまた利用します。皆様の旅がさらに素晴らしいものになることを願っています！

MMike the digital nomadI had the pleasure of staying at the Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel in Zhoushan, and it was an unforgettable experience. This beachfront gem offers direct access to the beach, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a relaxing seaside getaway.
The hotel's location couldn't be more perfect. Being steps away from the beach allowed me to enjoy picturesque views of the ocean and soothing sounds of the waves throughout my stay. The serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
A side note, this hotel is connected to the Westin and guest could stroll through the grounds.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted me with warm hospitality. They were attentive to my needs and provided helpful information about the hotel's services and nearby attractions.
The room was tastefully decorated and well-appointed with modern amenities. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-designed bathroom. The room's balcony provided a lovely spot to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning sunsets.
The hotel's dining options were diverse and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood dishes served at the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different palates.
The Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel's on-site facilities were also impressive. The swimming pool was well-maintained, and the spa provided a delightful way to relax after a day at the beach.
As mentioned earlier, the hotel's connection to the Westin added an extra layer of convenience. Guests could access additional amenities such as fitness centers, upscale dining venues, and more, creating a seamless blend of relaxation and indulgence.
Overall, my stay at the Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel was exceptional. The location has numerous spots for having meals. There were a lot of restaurants all mostly catering seafood dishes. Which I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect beachfront escape in Zhoushan.

CcommonelephantFor the cost (especially considering I bought a budget room) this is a good call, especially if your aim is to spend time exploring. It looked a bit down at heel from the outside (Goji berry island is mostly an unpretentious fishing community, not a glamorous destination, but that's part of the charm), but I was pleasantly surprised to find my room quite clean, decently spacious, everything functioning well, and a comfortable bed. Even the partial bay view was nice! Though I don't speak Chinese, the front desk staff were helpful in advising me on things like purchasing return ferry tickets, taxi prices, and restaurant recommendations. (You can try Xianmiao for seafood!) The location is also good, just at the bottom of the hill over to the Houtouwan fishing village, and quite near the island's main restaurant and market street. Breakfast was typical fare, but freshly made.

ゲゲストThe hotel does offer a sea view as advertised, but it is more of a port view rather than a scenic ocean view. The rooms are not clean enough, we noticed that the air vents were extremely dusty. When we turned on the air conditioning, there was a noticeable dusty odor, making it difficult to breathe, which forced us to turn it off despite the cold weather.
Additionally, the towels provided were not up to standard—some were visibly aged, worn out, and even torn. This significantly impacted the overall comfort of our stay. Improving towel quality and ensuring better air vent maintenance would greatly enhance the guest experience.
