Magnifique Sublime

This is a beautiful small hotel just outside the old city center so it's an easy walk over the Charles Bridge. The rooms are beautiful and a pretty good size. The public spaces are fantastic, make sure to go downstairs to look at the spa/pool area. Breakfast was also very good, the attendants were very nice. The only negative was that we checked in at noon, asked if our room was ready by chance and we were told the room was ready but it would be a 50 euro charge for an early check in. 50 euros for 2 hours is pretty excessive. They really need a better way to handle that.

Poor Customer service , WRONG SUITE , NO one greeted at the door, had to carry my luggage on the stairs, I have personally called when I initially reserved the suite and requested a special view for a special occasion, I was promised a nice view on the garden on a high level , I have called one night before my arrival, to confirm the suite and was told everything is booked and marked. At the moment I enter the suite , there was No garden looking through the windows, there is a building blocking the view. The response from reception was “we are fully booked”, I made this reservation months ago, and that should not have happened. For the price I am paying; I should be receiving an excellent customer service with the view that I requested. Very unhappy.

This is the most incredible hotel we've ever stayed at in the world! Every detail, from the most delicious homemade chocolates every day, to the best spa I've ever experienced in all of Europe. Every ounce of this hotel is perfection! Prague is equally as beautiful as Paris and on our 2nd trip to Prague in the last 10 years, we fell in love with this hotel! We stayed at one of the owners other properties on our last trip. And we loved that hotel too. The food is to die for & every detail of the hotel makes you feel like you are kings & queens living like true royalty. Thanks again for everything Giorgio. We will definitely be back.

Nous avons réservé cet hôtel pour notre lune de miel. Nous avons été extrêmement déçus de notre séjour du début à la fin. L'hôtel est certes très beau (très rococo, presque à la limite du kitsch), et c'est uniquement pour cela que j'ai laissé 2 étoiles. La situation est ma foi pas terrible, de l'autre côté du fleuve il faut faire au moins 20-25mn de marche pour se rendre en vieille ville ou tout est concentré. Il est a côté de l'ambassade américaine ce qui fait que l'on a systématiquement été arrêtés pas la police (et tous nos taxis également) à chaque allée et venue, et une manifestation anti USA hurlant devant l'hôtel à fini de nous convaincre que l'emplacement était un total désavantage. Lors de notre arrivée, malgré que sur notre confirmation de réservation indiquait que les petits déjeuners étaient compris, la personne à l'accueil a été intraitables indiquant que c'était une erreur, qu'ils utilisaient des confirmations génériques et que le petit déjeuner était au prix de 25 € par personne. Sachant que c'était une erreur de leur part, et qu'on était en lune de miel un geste aurait été apprécié. Nous avons ensuite voulu réserver un massage dans le spa de l'hôtel, la encore impossible de se faire masser à deux c'était l'un après l'autre, on a vu mieux pour une lune de miel. On renonce et demande donc de réserver le SPA pour une heure la matinée (SPA décrit comme la perle de Prague soit dit en passant). On débarque donc à l'heure prévue en maillot de bain et peignoir, et la même réceptionniste nous explique arrivé en bas que le SPA ne fonctionne pas qu'il n'y a pas d'eau et que l'on peut se contenter d'un sauna si nécessaire (le fait qu'elle n'ait pas précisé que le spa n'était pas en service lors de notre réservation, pour nous éviter de nous retrouver en maillot de bain l'air ***** est inacceptable!!). Elle précise que c'est bien spécifié sur le site internet, hors je vais voir et je ne trouve rien. Je lui demande de me montrer ou c'était spécifié (alors qu'elle était entourée de la stagiaire et d'une amie externe de l'hôtel venue lui rendre visite semble t'il) et elle me montre sur son ordinateur, avec un air pour le moins dédaigneux qu'il faut aller sur leur site, sur la page du spa, ensuite en bas cliquer sur l'onglet Health & Care et puis la tout en bas, c'est spécifié; tout ça en me regardant comme si c'était moi l'*****e alors que franchement pour une info aussi importante je pense que des excuses sur la lisibilité de l'info aurait été bienvenues, ou du moins je m'attendais a ce qu'elle admette que c'était pas du tout évident, et que me prendre de haut parce que je n'ai pas cliqué sur chaque mots de ce foutu site pour trouver cette info est là encore très limite. Je lui ai expliqué qu'honnêtement pour une lune de miel qui est un évènement important et qu'on vit qu'une fois nous sommes extrêmement déçus (sans surprise l'empathie n'était pas au rendez-vous) En quittant la réception j'ai entendu son amie demander ce que je voulais et pui

I first visited this hotel in 2018 when I booked a massage through their sister hotel down the street. The moment I walked in I told myself next time I visited Prague I would stay here. Fast forward 4 years and I finally did. I stayed for 3 nights and the location could not be far from perfect. It is located across the street from the US Embassy and it is a very safe area. The Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and bars and restaurants are near by. My room was enormous, it was almost like a one bedroom apar**ent minus the kitchen. Bed was comfortable and fairly quiet as the street next to it is not very busy. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of food variety. The staff was friendly and welcoming and always with a smile. My only negative experience I have was regarding my massage appoin**ent. It wasn't that big of a deal since I wasn't on a schedule but for some guests it may be. I scheduled a massage and a trea**ent for 10am. I arrived at the spa to find most of the lights off and nobody around. I waited patiently for at least 20min before going up to reception to ask where the spa staff was, she told me my therapist was running late and should be there soon. I continued to wait patiently until the therapist arrived almost one hour late. In the meantime I wasn't offered anything to drink while I waited. As far as the massage, it wasn't great like it was the first time 4 years ago. I will not be booking a massage there again. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Prague in the near future.

This is an absolutely stunning hotel which is conveniently located and phenomenal service. This hotel hosted our group from Texas. The restaurant located downstairs is fabulous and Michelin rated. I recommend the Goulash but everything was delicious!

My husband and I just visited Prague. We stayed at Alchymist and enjoyed our stay immensely. Whereas it seemed like it might be a bit difficult to get our bags unloaded and then car parked, that did not happen. Front desk immediately ran out and got our bags then took car to parking. Registration was seamless and the hotel was incredible with providing us with restaurant recommendations and ways to get to various locations. The hotel is in a great location and easy walking to the Charles Street Bridge, palace, shopping. The property is lovely in all respects. Room was wonderful and clean. Spacious bathroom. My husband was delighted with the gym which was available to use. The breakfast at hotel is great. Something for everyone. Also the restaurant itself is very charming. When we departed the Alchymist staff could not have been of any greater assistance. Do not hesitate to stay at this wonderful property. It does not disappoint.

At the time of the booking a swimming pool was touted as one of the attractive features of the hotel. It was the reason I had chosen the hotel in the first place, despite its rather steep price. Alas, the pool was closed during my stay and no effort was made to compensate for this. The hotel is comfortable in relevant respects--the bathrooms, beds, privacy, quiet. The owners appear to have gone out of their way to acquire antique furniture--lots of it, which makes for a cluttered place.
