ホテル ヴィラ ディーナ(Hotel Villa Dina)

I’d love to be able to say great things about the Villa Dina as you can tell that they’ve struggled through Covid. We were only staying for 1 night and that was enough for us. We had a quadruple room which was supposed to have bunk beds but we ended up with 2 single and a double and it was a bit of a squeeze. There were no facilities in the room, no way of making a drink, just towels and some free sachets of shampoo. There was aircon but we couldn’t find the remote, we had to ask for it at Reception so we weren’t able to cool the room until we returned later after eating and that too ages as it was so warm. To cool off I popped down to Reception and the owner let me take a couple of cold bottles of water. The shower wasn’t great and ended up making the bathroom very wet. Fortunately we checked out before 9am the following morning and the owner kindly called us a taxi and gave us complimentary cappuccinos.

I stayed for 2 nights in the week of Ferragosto. I didn’t spend much time there but my room was on the ground floor (12), clean, plenty of space, everything worked fine including the air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Not much street noise. Public car park nearby. A 7 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Would book again.

Premettendo che la struttura ha la sua età, con interni e arredamento abbastanza vecchi, tutto il resto è stato ottimo. Il ragazzo alla reception è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Le camere sono pulite e il bagno, anche se piccolo (se si fa la doccia non si può usare il wc), molto pulito. Nel complesso lo consiglio come hotel per il soggiorno in questa bellissima città. PS: affittate le biciclette per girare la città se no non vi godete nulla.
